"Lizzy hurry!" "Calm down Sarah" I huffed slipping on my boots before grabbing my coat from the hanger. Today was our first day in college and Sarah was nervous reck and Gera was sick. I meant sick with nerves. I seemed to be the only one who was pretty calm about this which explained why they were seated in my passenger seats ordering me around.
"I'm only driving you guys today," "whatever Lizzy just start the car already". I frowned but brought the engine to life pulling out of the parking lot into the busy streets. Last month we visited the campus for Gladys graduation and I saw my relatives again parents included. We patched things up few months prior to that time so I was happy to see them. They saved me from a certain someone and I was too blind to see it before but not anymore. "Are you seriously not nervous?" Sarah asks from beside me as I found somewhere to park. "Why would I be?" Turning the car off I make to step down. "Lizzy stay put for a few minutes" Gera breathes out. She was looking out the window and I did the same through Sarah's. "Why?" I tried to spot anything that held her attention. "Get off me" Sarah pushed me away dusting her lemon top. Why she chose such a bright color was beyond me atleast Gera was dressed in all black. Her skin was bright enough, me on the other hand wore my favorite red sweater and a pair of black ripped jeans. I wasn't dressed to impress but I still pulled off the badass look I was definitely going for.
"Elizabeth be real are you nervous?" Sarah crossed her arms staring me down. I seriously wasn't but if saying I was would make them leave me fine! "Okay maybe alittle" I faked a blush, "got ya I knew you where only acting tough". Sure whatever floats your boat chica. "let's go we don't want to be late to class" I don't wait for their replys before stepping down.
I didn't realize driving a Ferrari would attract so much attention. All the way through the parking lot which was huge might I add I felt eyes on me. I was sure same could be said for my friends. We separated from the administration office. Me walking towards my first class. Half of the hall was filled up when I arrived. I just threw myself down at the closest seat to the front still vacant. It seemed there were alot of nerds present and perverts considering the stares on me. Sarah did tell me letting my hair down made me look like a seductress.
"Good morning class!" a tall man probably in his early prime walked in. "His hot" someone whispered from behind me and I couldn't agree more. "I am Mr Washington you're biology teacher" he grins dimples appearing on both sides of his cheeks. The class erupts with murmurs like always everyone had their opinion. "Settle down class!" I zoned out after that.
It was Lunch break and I was texting the girls to meet up by the car when my phone was knocked out of my hands face down onto the pavement. "Oh my god!" The voice snapped my attention from my probably shattered phone on to the corporate. Her fearful blue eyes hidden behind the most ugly pair of glasses stared back at me. I took in her small fat form and extra baggy clothes. Fat people shouldn't wear big clothes it's common sense. "I'm so so sorry.....I....I...." she stutters bending down to pick up my phone and I winced at the state of it. "It's okay" I forced out reaching for it she kept murmuring as she handed my phone over holding the strap of her backpack tighter. "Excuse me" I walked pass her towards my car. "So much for a first day" I groaned staring at the cracked screen.
The doors fly open then shuts but I kept my gaze down. "What's up babe!" Gera sounded cheerful. "Lizzy?" Sarah questions making me realize she sat beside me, "my phone's broken". "So! we can stop by the plaza to get a new one". "True I guess I'm just in a really pissy mood" I sighed. "Well we might have something to make you feel better" I turned in my seat to catch Gera's grin. "What?" "Drive we'll tell you on the way" Sarah buckles her seatbelt and I did the same driving off.
"First day and you already got invited to a party?" I asked forking my salad. "Yeah I sat beside the host in one of my classes" Sarah murmurs spooning her soup. We were at a diner not too far from campus. I had one class left and Sarah did too but Gera was free but promised to stick around. "Her sonority house are throwing a welcome party for new students talk about cool," "yeah" I said drily. I wasn't feeling dress up infact I wasn't feeling anything but delight for this meal. The chicken sauce to go with the salad was on point. "Lizzy......." Gera whines, "what?!" "You're killing the spirit what's up?" "Nothing I'm just not feeling it" I shrugged. "When last did you get laid?" "Last week Sarah and that's not the problem". "Then what is?" "I have no idea but I will try to be happy see" I pointed to my full blown smile. "Please stop you look like a clown" Sarah laughs and like that the air was cool as we talked about other things.
I sat beside a guy in my next class. "Hey" he grinned at me, "hi" I gave him a small smile. He blushed looking down at his bare note. He looked cute with his baby cheeks and nice attire. "I'm Lizzy" I instigated a conversation since the lecturer wasn't here yet. "Silas" "oh!" I frowned. "What? I'm sorry did I say something" he rushed out, "no no I.....I just remembered someone sorry" I looked ahead.
I didn't want to think about him but five different nights of passion can't be ignored. Yes I know I was stupid to sleep with the cold hearted Silas Fisher but it was hard to contain myself especially when I just found out my relationship with William was a... I don't even know what to call it. My sex life had increased tremendously but still Silas was the best apart from William but that doesn't count. I think me being in love with William gave him an unfair advantage. With Silas it was just sex simple no stress. He even said he'll drop by next month and I planned to get some. It was hard to find capable men. "I'm sorry I offended you" he whispers, "don't be it's not your fault" I smiled. We talked some more and I realized Silas was a cool guy a nerd but cool.
