Two days to Christmas
"Really Gloria? It's not that easy" I sighed, "why? You clearly love the guy why not come clean with your parents?" She was checking my wardrobe for clothes. Even at 23 she was my size. "Glo the guy is a decade older than her, I don't think uncle and aunt we agree to it" Gladys frowns. She laid beside me on the bed, "she's right," "well you knew this before you both decided to date just suck it up and tell them" Gloria comes into view so I could see her stern expression. I told them about William and now their forcing me to come clean to my parents but I'm scared. I don't want to lose him, William has being the best boyfriend ever and the thought of being away from him scared me. "Oh Lizzy" Gladys hugs me, I had no idea I was crying until I felt it run down my cheeks. "I love him Gla I can't lose him," "don't cry sis if it's meant to be it's meant to be" Gloria comes to pat my head.
"We should go Christmas shopping that will help," "yes invite your friends" Gloria adds. "Okay but I'm not really feeling it," "come on Elizabeth it's Christmas be joyous". "Fine" I laughed at their Christmas spirit "I can't wait for you to join us in London next year!" Gladys squeaks. "Yes we are going have so much fun, when I'm not working atleast" Gloria frowns she was a lawyer like her uncle.
"How does uncle Morgan do it?" She groans slumping down on my bed. "My dad is an extra ordinary man and so are you, you'll be fine sis" I gave her shoulders a comforting pat. "Okay go change" "why? What's wrong with this" I stared down at my black T and white jeans shorts. "Umm it's not very festive" Gloria smirks standing and walking back to my closet. She returned seconds later with a green sweater and red shorts. "You can't be serious" I laughed waiting for her to join in, "I'm fucking serious cuz change" she shoved it at me. "I'll call your friends" Gladys escapes before Gloria could force her to change from her blue gown. "She's dumb if she thinks she's wearing that on a festive period" Gloria laughs before chasing her out of room. I heard Gladys scream and dad ordering them to stay still, Aunt Mary went to visit grandpa. With a groan I stripped naked changing to appease Gloria, that bitch was controlling as hell. "Hey I'm ready!" My hair was up in a tight ponytail keeping it from my face and displaying my necklace that I never took off. "Honey you look amazing" mom smiles, seeing how entranced she was gave me some morale and I didn't want to leave this house looking like something father Christmas spitted out. Gladys grumbles were heard before I saw her, she wore a green jumpsuit with a red scarf around her neck.
Taking our coats we head out, "your friends said they'll meet us at Victoria secret" Gladys murmurs slipping into the passenger seat. I let Gloria drive, since it was snowy and she had more experience, won't want to die before Christmas? "Okay so Glo any boyfriends?" I smirked, "yes actually we've being going out for a few months now his sweet.…." "and boring" Gladys cuts in. Did I forget to tell you she was the wild one, I mean crazy one? Gladys did crazy things like there was no tomorrow. "Gladys I'm looking for a husband material" Gloria rolls her eyes, "you're still young sis live," "I'm 23 Gladys I'm ready to start a family......" "and boring Lizzy tell me about William" Gladys waves her sister off. I took the opportunity, diving into tails about my time with William. "See sis that's the kind of guy you should be hanging out with, mature but childish a perfect mix". "I'm not taking relationship advice from you Gladys, when was your last serious relationship, highschool?" Gloria scoffs. "Okay no arguing" I said even though I was secretly enjoying it, I wondered how they had lived together for so long. Aunt Mary lived in Las Vegas, I went to visit one time and I never wanted to leave, Las Vegas is a total party zone. Gloria parks the car still frowning. "Sis I'm sorry" Gladys leans in, kissing her head from the back seat. "Get off" Gloria tries to hide her smile. I guess I know my answer, Gladys knows how to appease her.
We walked towards Victoria secret first where Gera and Sarah stood side by side waiting. "Hey bitches!" I called out before hugging them, "who dressed you guys up?" Sarah laughs pulling away. Me and Gladys pointed at Gloria who just shrugs her shoulders walking into the store. We followed behind and shopping began. "What do you think?" I held up a one piece lingerie for Sarah to see. "William won't be able to take his eyes of you get it" Gladys was the one who answered, the rest nodded in agreement. I added it to my pile of sexy underwear and comfortable ones. I needed new pairs anyway and it seemed Gloria needed them too because she bought tonnes of bras. I planned to steal a particular green one later before she leaves after new years. "Do we all have our gifts ready?" "Yes no one does that kind of shopping two days to Christmas" Gloria glares at her sister. "Why?" "The place will be so full and they won't have any valuables since alot of people have done Christmas shopping" Gera explains. "Oh! Well I have to try I haven't gotten anything" Gladys pouts, "meet us by the car" Gloria waves off. Gladys went to pay before leaving I think, I got some more lingeries before I agreed I had enough. "Let's go I want to check out some festive gowns" Sarah forces us out of Victoria secret. "I'm going to see if I can get some skirts for work" Gloria splits away leaving the three of us.
"Is Henry around?" Sarah asked, "his a player girl don't even go there"" I laughed. My cousins were cute but they knew that and it got into their heads, their mother was always complaining she would die without grandkids. "His hot," "I'm aware Sarah but he has zero respect for a woman that's not family" I said honestly. "I'm family" "yeah right! Drop it okay I'm already stressed out with the whole William issue". "They still want you to tell them?" Gera asks, "yes Gloria thinks it's the right thing to do and I know it is too but I'm fucking terrified". "You're probably just paranoid, your parents might be cool with it" Sarah smiles, "I fucking hope so I never want to go against them". "You won't have to, they know William his a good guy," "yeah". We got tonnes of gowns and jeans with a few tops before heading towards the parking lot. Gladys had actually succeed in finding some Christmas presents, she didn't show us ofcourse. Sarah and Gera went to their individual cars while we waited for Gloria, in the car ofcourse. The heater was turned up to the fullest as snow fell on the windscreen. "Sorry" she breathes out climbing in, "it's okay but head home I'm craving hot chocolate" I leaned back into my seats.
