"I have never seen you girls before are you new?" The young man asked. "No we are here to see a friend" Gera replys, "we are new in town" Sarah adds looking the guy up and down. I couldn't blame her the guy was nerdy attractive. Spotting a brown jacket with the zipper opened revealing the white inner shirt underneath. He wore alittle too big blue jeans but it was still fashionably and his black frame glasses gave his face a unic touch. His charm was the boyish smile that graced his features when he found out he held the elevator for three beautiful women. From his earlier statement I could tell he was a home boy accent too strong to miss. "Oh! Welcome to London then" "thank you" Sarah blushed and I raised my brows weird out by her behavior. "What's your name?" She asked confident Sarah was back and I preferred her to shy Sarah. "Stuart Stuart Yates" he replys, "well Stuart I'm Sarah and this are my friends Geraldine and Elizabeth" she gestures to us and he follows with his eyes. When his eyes met mine he looked away with a slight blush and it seemed like I was the only one to notice because Sarah kept talking. "We start college this year do you go to college?" "Yes I'm in my senior year". "Oh that's cool you most know Gladys knight then". His eyes widens then he blushed some more this got me curious and I spoke for the first time. "You know my cousin?" He jumps alittle probably from hearing the foreign voice. He meets my gaze, "Gladys is your cousin?" "Yes she is are you more than neighbors?" "No no I had a crush on her freshman year but that was a long time ago" he rants off.

The elevator opening saves him from more further questioning. "Well this is our stop nice to meet you Stuart" Sarah said. I heard Gera repeat the same but I was already out the elevator walking down the hallway to my cousins condo. Sarah and Gera appeared by my side. "His cute" Sarah gushed, "he is" I nodded along. "Do you think I can go for him?" "Why not? He said he has no more feelings for my cousin and there is a chance his single" I pushed. I know I should tell her that Stuart might be more interested in me than her but then she'll try to set me up with him and I'm definitely not ready for that.

After knocking I pushed my hands into my coat pockets to wait. Not a minute later Gloria pulls the door open. "Welcome to my humble abode" she smiles letting us through and I stared around in awe. The living room was gorgeous, "it's beautiful" Gera beats me to it. "Thanks" Gloria laughs, "take a seat and you guys can watch anything you want I'll go shower I smell like spice" she sniffs her oversized t shirt in emphasis. "Okay be quick" I called after her before sitting beside Sarah as Gera turned on the tv.

Gloria joined us quicker than expected, "tell us everything about Stuart Yates" Sarah attacks Crossing her legs and leaning into the couch Gloria looks sideways at her. "Why?" Gloria raised an eyebrow confused, "because she has the hots for him" Gera scoffs. Sarah rolls her eyes but doesn't object, "umm okay well he lives on the fifth floor with his twin brother Shawn Yates". This perks my curiosity, "his a twin?" "Yeah and it's the usual cliche polar opposite thing" she waves off. I chuckled at this the only twins I had seen that were actually alike in taste and attitude were my cousins, Harrison and Henry. Those boys are twins to the bloody core, "well Stuart mentioned liking Gladys" Sarah murmurs. "Oh right! That guy would have treated her right but you know her always choosing the bad boys" Gloria sighs. "So I'm safe to pursue him?" "Yes Gladys sees him as nothing more than a neighbor he didn't even make it to the friends zone" Gloria chuckles. "Let's talk of something else how's work?" "Annoying as always my boss is a sexist who believes women should always be under men I mean he won't even let me handle a case without a male by my side" she rants on for hours. It was fun hearing her talk with so much passion for her work. Gera didn't think so because she was dozing off in the couch. Sarah had her focus on a movie when I took quick glances I saw a love triangle.

A knock draws all our attention, "I'll get in" I was already on my feet before they could reply. Pulling the door open the man before me frowned, "who are you?" I asked. "I should be asking you that this is my girlfriend's house," his statement takes me back to Christmas. I gave him a one over his looks were boring, dark brown eyes and a small black hair. He wore a pair of chinos pants and a bright green jacket. "Come in" I stepped aside, he murmurs a thank you as he walked pass. I knew they'll need privacy so I strail behind him gesturing for the girls. "Babe" Gloria grins running into his welcoming arms, "cuz we'll head out" I called taking my coat. "No need for that" she smiles but I didn't miss the relief, "no it's okay we need to head home anyway" I chuckled. She sees us to the elevator before running back to the house. "That guy isn't cute" Gera nods in agreement to Sarah. "She likes him and he seems to like her that's all that matters" I warned them and they huffed but dropped the subject. Not everyone was drop dead gorgeous and most people who were were so full of themselves. I wondered how William could remain modest with his looks the elevator stops breaking my chain of thoughts.

"We need to find a job we can't keep staying coped up in the house" Sarah rants from the driver's seat. "I'm too tired for this discussion" Gera groans resting her head on the window. I didn't comment only closing my eyes and drifting off into an afternoon nap. Sarah woke us up after parking the car and we hurried to our separate rooms. I stopped in front of the closet before sighing and making my way to the bed instead. Closing the curtains to stop the light flow I laid still in the darkness wondering.
