"Lizzy fancy seeing you here" Charles smiles or rather smirks,"you two have met?" Daisy asks. "Yes at the company she works there" Charles pecks his mom before seating across her. "Really!" The look of complete surprise stunned me,don't they know their employees "as what?". "As my PA" a deep voice called from behind me,well his early. "Williams" Daisy grinned standing up to hug him,he chuckles but hugs her back. "Since we are complete let's dine," "Mr Morgan" Will shook hands with my father before taking the seat beside me. "Liz" he whispers in my ears,I smiled at him but my inside churned,what the hell!. "I'm Diana" the only girl of the kwin children introduced,"Lizzy" I replied. William was between me and his sister but that didn't hide her beauty from me. She was blonde like the rest of the family but like Charles she took her mother's blue eyes. William was a carbon copy of his father,possessing the same intimidating pair of green orbs. On cue a few maids came into the dinning room bearing trains filled with different dishes. They served us and after a quick grace we all ate in silence,once we were done,the maid returns taking dishes away. "Dessert will be served in the living room" Daisy smiles and we stood heading to their living room. I took the spot on the loveseat and William sat beside me,I raised my brows at him leaning in discreetly to whisper. "What's up with your sudden affection boss" I smirked,he sighs, "follow me" then he stands and walks away. I looked around the room to see no one watching so I stand excusing myself. I arrived at the hallway to see William leaning on the wall beside the entrance,"let's go," "no I'm not moving until you tell me where we're going?" I crossed my arms staring him down. "Elizabeth just follow me I need a breath of fresh air" he turns around and walks towards the main entrance. I stood still,we weren't friends so what the hell was this about. You won't find out by standing against a wall like an idiot. I walk ahead being left with no other choice. William was waiting outside,"took you long enough" he scoffs,"I'm here now ain't I?" I frowned, wrapping my arms around my frame,He continues down the path beside the house,coming to a stop in front of a garden. I'm not an obsessed flower person but I have to admit it looks beautiful. "So why I'm I here?" I looked up at him,he was looking at the flowers. "For a breath of fresh air," he shrugs nonchalantly, "I don't need fresh air William, Infact I was enjoying myself inside" I rant annoyed. The cool breeze of the night kissed my naked skin and I shivered slightly,William noticed . He takes off his suit jacket throwing it over my shoulders,"thank you" I smiled. He nods before rolling his white sleeves up to reveal his toned arms. William wasn't that muscular but he could definitely hold his own in a fight,I didn't like my men muscular either. Not that I'm calling him my man or anything,"Lizzy you're staring" William points out. I blushed looking ahead,great he thinks I'm a creep,"why are you working in my company instead of being in school?" "Me and my friends took the year off" I shrug, he nods. "William do you have a girlfriend, fiance or wife?" "What?!" I pushed down my urge to laugh giving him a serious look. "I'm single" he blushed embarrassed,why? I pushed loving how his cheeks turned crimson,"we should go back we haven't had dessert". He didn't wait for a response before finding his way back,I sigh coward but followed anyway.
"Thank you for having us Daisy" mom smiles giving her a quick hug, "anytime" Daisy replys. We walked out of the house into our car, "tonight was fun" mom begins,"not really" Ethan snorts. I felt bad for him,no one his age was present, I'm pretty sure Diana is older than me even but we clicked. She's in her third year in college and lives with her family since she attends NYC university. "Lizzy?" "Ummm?" I look straight to where mom sat,"how is work?" She tried to look interested, keyword- tried. I saved her from her misery,"mom I'm really tired but works fine," "okay" she breathes out. I don't blame her,it's hard to be concern about something you have no interest in.
I took a long warm bath, letting the water rinse off my stress,after the garden walk William pretty much ignored me. I didn't mind though, talking to Daisy and Diana was fun,we even agreed to catch up sometime for girls day out. I just hope things won't be awkward at work,wait who I'm I kidding,he will probably go back to being a jerk. I wrapped my towel around my body after drying up,unlike some people I never take my clothes to the bathroom with me. It's my room I should be allowed to parade around naked,so that's exactly what I did. I jumped on my bed,my night gown raising slightly as I grabbed my phone going to our group chat.
"Amen!" We chorused after our pastor says the closing prayer,I walked beside dad as he greets a few of his fellow deacons members. "Oh Morgan your daughter has grown beautifully" deaconess Joy smiles. I gave her a quick hug thanking her,"how old are you now dear?" Another member asked. "She'll be 19 next month" dad grins excited,"really you should host a gathering to celebrate," "I don't know about that" dad smiles warily,"please dad that's a good idea" I jumped on the opportunity. "Lizzy......" dad draws out,"please dad we didn't throw a party for my 18th," "cut the girl some slack dear" mom says joining us along with Ethan who she went to fetch from the children church. "Fine but if you crash my house....," "you build another one" I cut him off with a grin,causing everyone to laugh. "We have to get going" dad shakes their individual hands,"bye Lizzy" deaconess Joy says,she was my favorite and her actions in the house of God was amicable. "So I'm throwing a party" I grin once we were inside the car,"don't push your luck Elizabeth Annabelle Morgan" dad groans. I shut it immediately,once the full name comes out you have to know dad means business. Unlike normal teenagers I actually like my middle name,I plan to be addressed by that in college. The girls also agreed,Sarah going by Stephanie and Geraldine by penny short for Penelope.
