The next day started like the last one. Morning coffee with Vince in the kitchen and leaving shortly after him.

Yesterday didn't happen much. After school I directly went home. I didn't see the Cullens anywhere and I was kind of relieved. But to be honest I practically run out of the building.

When I got home I did my homework and helped Reah with her purchases when she came home. The rest of the evening wasn't any more spectacular.

When I arrived at school the next morning, I went straight to the room I was going to have physics in. I had the books in my backpack already, so I didn't had to walk to my locker.

I chose a random seat and hoped that I wouldn't have to move. I hadn't. I was glad when the first period was over because I really wasn't that good in physics. And I didn't like the teacher much.

When luchbreak came around I found myself subconsciously looking for the 'siblings in everything but blood' as Alice called themselves yesterday. I found them in the cafeteria as usual. Emmett came up to me and dragged me over again.

That went on for days. Two weeks to be exact. My first week of school was way better than expected. The Cullens were the main reason. I had fun with them. I mean I didn't talked that much but listen and watch them teasing each other was great. I could've needed popcorn.

Even though I didn't really talked much about myself we really got to know each other more. I found out that they loved playing Baseball, that Edward was the musician in their family, Alice liked drawing and was the fashion girl. That Emmett was totally into sport was rather unspectacular. Also Jasper and Rosalie were twins. I was really surprised when someone said that.

Also Eric hat the 'great' idea to introduce me to his friends. They were all nice but I knew it was never gonna work. Angie and Eric were nice. Mike was the Sunnyboy that had a crush on basically everyone except the girl that obviously had a crush on him, Jessica.

She had a lot of faces from what I've seen. She's kind of that gossip-beauty girl that's in almost every friend group. I don't know why but I liked her, even though I saw how fake she can be. But that really didn't matter to me. I saw it in my old schools before so I knew how to handle that. She was nice to me. We laughed a lot together and she told me more about the people around and who was 'important'.

I feel like she was her normal self when she was talking to me. I didn't know why she put up the fakeness at times, I don't know her past and I'm definitely the last one to judge her.

Bella was also kind of part of the group. I wasn't sure how to feel about that. But we didn't really talk anyway.

Eric said that I could sit with him and his friends at lunch but I politely declined. Firstly I didn't want to and secondly would Emmett get me one way or another back to their table. He did it when Eric introduced me to his friends. I was relieved that they weren't disappointed or anything. But I had to promise that I would hang with them sometime.

When I came home friday after my second week of school I was beyond happy. Two days without a hella lot of strangers surrounding me. I mean my first weeks of school were okay. I even had a few people talking to me like Calista in my German class or Eric and his friends. Jessica and Angela were both in my art class and they were actually really fun to be around. They had me in a conversation a second after they took the place beside me. And the Cullens of course. But the way I feel about two of them makes me want to run. Just really far away from here. It scares me.

Vince came home way earlier than expected. I didn't even know what he was doing for a living. But I didn't ask either. I was sure I would know some day.

We had lunch together and afterwards he asked me if I wanted to go with him to a good friend. He thought it was a good idea since there were people around my age and a little older I could 'hang out' with. I only agreed because he seemed so exited about it. Besides I wanted to get to know him better. I wanted it to work out. And I wanted to work on and for it.

In his car he gave me the control over the music. I connected the phone with his car and a second later I had my favorite playlist on Spotify playing. It was a mix of pretty much all genres from a lot of decades.

It was a good idea. He knew quite a lot and vibed with it. I smiled at that. On our way we mainly talked about school. He even apologized because he wasn't a lot at home the past two weeks. It wasn't his fault and that's exactly what I told him. Besides I enjoyed our mornings with freshly made coffee in the kitchen. He always put a cup for me on the kitchen island and would be waiting for me before he started to drink his.

"Where are we driving to?", I asked after a while we just vibed to the music. "The Quileute reservation. It's in La Push. The people that live there are natives.", he explained. I looked at him impressed. But it also made me a little nervous. "Don't worry, I'm sure they'll like you. Billy actually didn't stop asking me about you.", he chuckled. "I know him thanks to Charlie a good friend and ex colleague of mine.", he said. I just nodded. He told me a little more about them until we reached it.

When I got out of the car a guy in a wheelchair was already waiting. "Hey, Billy!", Vince greeted him. "Good to see you Vince.", the man with long black hair and hat greeted back. I came up to them as well. "Hey. I'm Emery.", I introduced myself a little awkward. "Finally I get to meet you too. Vince wouldn't shut up about you the last couple of weeks and when you arrived in Forks he wouldn't come here.", Billy said and shook his head at Vince. I giggled. "I guess the waiting is over", I replied. "It sure is. But now, come inside. Jacob's already waiting.", he said and got inside first. I looked at Vince. "Jacob's his son.", he explained. I nodded.

In the kitchen was a tall guy with short blackish hair grabbing two bottles of beer. When he heard us enter he turned around and smiled. Before he could greet us Billy got over taking the bottles out of his hands and threw one over to Vince who catched it. Looking at that it seemed like it was normal. "Emery, this is Jacob. Jake, that's Emery. I told you about her.", Billy introduced us. I smiled at him. "Nice to meet you.", Jake said. "Yeah, you too.", I replied. "How about you show her the Res and intruduce her to the others?", the guy in the wheelchair said. Jake nodded and grinned at me. "Alright, follow me."

I did as I was told and went outside again. He walked me around, told me a lot of this place and the Quileute and joked around a little. At the end he lead me to a little wooden house not far from Billys.

"Okay, time to meet up with the others. They seem a little intimidating at the beginning but trust me, they aren't. Most of the time.", he said, mumbling the last part. "Very calming.", I said sarcastically. He grinned at me before he opened the door letting me in.

Inside were four more tall muscly guys with the same tanned skin color and dark hair as Jake. They immediately turned around to me.

Oh, how I loved all the attention on me. I surpressed a sigh.

"Hey Jake, who's the new girl?", one of them asked the guy next to me. "Ignore him and let me introduce us first.", another one said and glaring at the other guy before he came up to me. "My name is Sam and that are Paul, Jared and Embry.", the oldest looking of them said and pointed at them one after another. Once again he glared at the last one - Embry - who looked down and mumbled an apology. "No, it's fine. I'm Emery, nice to meet you", I replied.

And I felt extremely awkward. Especially with half of them being shirtless for no reason.

Jake was about to say something when a girl entered the room stopping when she saw me. I smiled at her ignoring her scars. Of course I was a little shocked but I also knew staring at them would make her uncomfortable. Besides it would be rude.

I hate people who judge others without knowing them or their backstory. Why do some people care if you like the same sex or look different than most of society?

"Oh, I didn't know we have a guest. Hi I'm Emily.", she said and immediately came over to me, slightly hitting Sam on the chest. "Why didn't you asked her if she wanted something? Where are your manners?", she scolded before she took my hand leading me to a kitchen. "Because I didn't had a chance yet.", Sam yelled after us. I chuckled at that.
