Jaeje had always had a problem with being far from familiar places too long and was more than happy to head back to Seoul, safe in her and Hyejin's apartment, in the comfort of her bed.

Of course Heeseung couldn't give her the satisfaction of a completely peaceful evening back home as he stopped her from leaving the car after offering to drop her and Hyejin home.

"On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your trip to Daegu? " he asked with a cheeky grin "keep in mind all the time you spent with me"

"-3" she deadpans and gives him a light tap on the cheek before disappearing into her apartment building.

"If I tell her she's obsessed with my cheeks she might just stop" Heeseung mutters to himself and scoffs before putting the car in reverse and driving away.

"So how was your romantic getaway with Mr. Lee? " Nari questioned as Jaeje walked into the office a day later, she had decided to sleep off the work vacation yesterday before resuming work.

"Exhausting" Jaeje rolled her eyes as she took a seat in front of the receptionist desk.

"Exhausting how~? " Nari asked, getting a glare in response.

"Shut up, I need some time before I head up there and face the troubles of my life" Jaeje told her while closing her eyes.

"He isn't in yet, don't worry" Nari assured her, but that only set her on high alert.

"Why not?" She asked.

"It happens after he gets back from a trip, he'll probably get here soon enough" Nari shrugged.

"Ok then" Jaeje stood up, ready to head upstairs and prepare his usual morning drink, still on the fact he wasn't in yet.

'Probably in bed with some new Barbie Doll' she thought bitterly and walked into the elevator.

"Good morning! " Heeseung exclaimed as he walked in an hour later.

"What's with all the coffee cups? " he asked as he stopped in his tracks, looking at his secretary who had 4 on the table next to her.

"I kept making them for you, but ended up taking them myself" her right eye twitched slightly as she got up to throw the cups away.

"Maybe you should sit for awhile" he advised as he directed her towards the couch.

"Best idea you've ever had" she took a sit as she rested herself on the comfy sofa, the adrenaline still rushing through her veins.

"Also I need you to sign these papers that were sent over, it's from Mr. Oh" Jaeje said as she pointed towards his desk.

"No problem, is it the project for the new park? " he questioned as he grabbed the papers, tossing himself onto his chair.

"Probably" she sighed and embraced the moment of silence, something that was very rare working with Heeseung.

"I don't remember this part of our last meeting" Heeseung's voice rang out as his eyes scanned a particular paragraph, not pleased with the interpretations.

"Let me look through it, I'll give his secretary a call" Jaeje sprang into work mode again as she moved forward towards her boss.

"No no, don't worry, have as seat" Heeseung gestured for her to sit in one of the chairs opposing his, his phone already out.

"Mr. Oh, yeah good morning, I just looked through the contract and everything on how much money will be going into each company seems like it was written by someone who just swallowed bullshit" Heeseung said casually as Jaeje gawked at him.

"Mr. Oh, I think it's clear to everyone involved in this that my company is the biggest investor for this project and it was already a done deal we would get the larger share, looking through these papers it seems like you underestimate me again, keep in mind I may not be as stern as my friend Mr. Park, but I'm no idiot, let's have another meeting this afternoon and go through this again, thank you for your time" and with that he hangs up and tosses the phone on the table.

"Wow... " Jaeje said as she continued to stare at the man, not surprised at the words he used, but impressed he actually handled it well.

"You know it may seem everyone else runs this company for me, but my father would never hand it over if I was incompetent fool" Heeseung huffs, still annoyed at the earlier call, these old men need to realize he's not as stupid as they think he is.

"You're very much competent I won't lie, if only your personality was better" Jaeje smiles up at him and also gets up to go to her office, taking the corruption contract with her.

After the whole ordeal and a lot of rearrangements with Heeseung's schedule, Jaeje was ready to head home for the day, on her way to the elevator when Heeseung jumped out of his.

"Let's go I'm dropping you off! " he exclaimed, waving his car keys around.

"Hyejin picks me up you dumbass" Jaeje rolled her eyes at his playful banter.

"Not today, her car isn't working so Jay is dropping her off, told me to make sure you make it home in one piece" Heeseung informed getting a deadpan in return.

"And he wanted me to go with you? " Jaeje asks as Heeseung rolls his eyes.

"You wound me, let's go" He drags her into the elevator and hits the button for the ground floor.

"Nari darling, I'll be heading out early" Heeseung winks as he takes Jaeje to his car, still holding her wrist.

"No problem sir, enjoy your night" the words are sent towards both of them and Jaeje glares at her, blushing at what Nari could be thinking.

"Don't say a word and just take me home, I wanna sleep a bit" Jaeje jabs at him as she buckles in her seatbelt finding difficulty as it keeps getting stuck.

"Here" Heeseung leans over to help her, properly setting her outfit as he buckles in for her.

"Thank you" she mumbles out, fixing her outfit before looking back up to him still right in front of her face.

"You still haven't grasped personal space I see" she sighs and faces forward when she feels soft lips on her cheek.

"You're welcome, and feel free to hit me for the kiss, but as usual I don't regret it" He smirks and faces forward, starting up the car.

"What's the point" she scoffs to herself and leans back onto the seat as they start moving.
