Heeseung had managed to keep to his promise on keeping away from her and being strictly professional, though he did make his usual teasing remarks from time to time.
While her and Hyejin were talking about their trip to Daegu she got a call from the troublemaker himself and went to her room to attend to it.
"Yes sir?" she spoke up, putting the phone to her ear.
"The joys of hearing you say that right in my ear" he sighed exasperated making her roll her eyes.
"And goodbye" she said ready to cut the call, not ready to deal with his daily nonsense.
"Ok wait, I called to say you shouldn't stress about buying a ticket, you'll be going first class" he told her.
"Well I can't exactly deny the offer, but Hyejin has always flown economy and I figured that's what I would do" she said.
"Yeah well, I'm sure you realize by now I'm far different from Jay, let's talk later Mon Cheri?" he asked making her confused.
"What does that mean?" she answered back.
"Look it up" with that he hung up.
Later on, after Hyejin had gone through several outfits, saying she needed to also look first class, they were waiting in the first class waiting area when they saw the seven men walking towards them.
"So where do you ladies plan to go to while in Daegu?" Heeseung asked after everyone had exchanged greetings.
"I'm gonna go grab something to eat" Jaeje said, cutting herself out of the conversation that was about to take place. She was soon joined by Heeseung as he snatched away the croissant she was about to put on her plate.
"This is delicious" he commented, holding it out to her to take a bite.
"In that case I'll just have some cake" she answered and started filing her plate up with chocolate cake.
"You're so dismissive" he whined, finishing the croissant himself.
"Anyways why don't I show you around Daegu? I've been here more times than I can count" he offered.
"Your hookups must have been very good for you to get on a plane for it" she replied making him chuckle.
"I can only think of one hookup like that" he told her as she turned to give him a curious glance, scoffing once he nodded towards her and walked back towards Hyejin.
They had finally gotten to their accommodation for the duration of their trip and Jaeje was in no mood to get up from her bed.
"Get up and head downstairs" Hyejin poked her head into the room and was gone again in a flash.
"Ughh" Jaeje groaned, but got up nevertheless and dragged her feet downstairs.
"I say we do rock paper scissors" she heard Ni-Ki speak up as she walked into the living room.
"No, you always cheat" Jake denied the suggestion.
"Well all I know is I'm not cooking tonight" Sunoo told them.
"Why don't we just order?" Sunghoon suggested, but got multiple cries of denial in return.
"It's way too late and besides we're in the mood for something home cooked" Jay told him, not wanting unhealthy delivery food.
"Not it" Ni-Ki touched his nose and before Jaeje could process anything, everyone else had already backed out.
"You're it" Ni-Ki pointed towards her and she regrets having stood up at all.
"Fine, any requests?" she asked, accepting her fate.
"Anything edible" Jake said to her before laying himself on the couch, legs resting on Sunghoon and Jay.
Jaeje went into the kitchen and quickly grabbed some ingredients from the fridge, deciding to roll with it.
"Can I help?" Jaeje let out a scream and turned around with the knife in her hand, holding it to Heeseung's neck.
"I'm not into that type of play" he told her once the initial shock had gone away.
"Why?" she questioned, turning back to the vegetables she was chopping.
"I thought you would need help Mrs. Lee" he pouted, grabbing another knife.
"Ok then, go cook this for me" she handed him the bowl of rice and went back to what she was doing, hoping to keep at a far distance knowing very well he didn't come into the kitchen with only the idea to help.
"It's no fun at this side of the kitchen" he moaned, turning back towards her.
"There is no fun side" she commented, adding the vegetables to the already boiling food when she heard footsteps behind and once again turned around with her knife.
"You have to stop unintentionally putting a knife to my throat" he told her.
"Who said it was unintentional?" she rhetorically asked.
"Can I try some?" he leaned over her shoulder to look at the food, bringing his face back a little bit to stare directly at hers.
"Sure" she agreed and grabbed a spoon, fetching a little bit and holding out to him.
"Take the spoon and try it" she said, in no way shocked when he chose to eat it from her hand directly.
"I was only partly talking about the food, it's delicious by the way" he winked and stood back straight to continue watching over the rice.
"You're an ass" she said to him as he walked back to his side of the kitchen.
"I have an ass, you wanna see?" he asked, making her mimic throwing the knife at his head causing him to laugh.
"This is delicious, I want more" Sunoo moaned as the food hit his taste buds, hardly stopping in between bites.
"Careful or you'll choke" Jay warned, chewing on his more slowly.
"Yeah yeah" Sunoo rolled his eyes, but slowed down his movements.
"Psst" Jaeje heard Hyejin whisper and turned to look at her, the girl motioning to lean down.
"What did he talk to you about in the kitchen? I've never seen him in one" Hyejin asked
"He was being his usual self" Jaeje replied, which wasn't a lie, this was the attitude she had gotten since their deal at the office and was more content with it.
"His usual self is not in a kitchen" Hyejin said.
"How would I know? you've known him longer" Jaeje went back to her food, deciding to go straight to bed once she was done and ignore any further questions.
A/N: Sorry for the late update, I was grouchy all last week.
