"Are you decent?" Jaeje called out as she entered Heeseung's office a few hours later, placing her hand over her eyes.
"Yes" Heeseung rolled his eyes as he typed away at his desktop.
"Just making sure" Jaeje shrugged as she closed the door walking inside. After Heeseung's blunt confession of his intentions, she had busied herself with other things trying very hard to avoid the man and his antics, but sadly he had a meeting she had to inform him about.
"Your meeting with Mr. Park is in 30 minutes, we might want to be on our way" she told him as she stared back at his schedule for the day.
"Fine, but let's pass by Lilah Café on our way there, I'm in the mood for cupcakes" he said getting up.
"You're the boss" Jaeje said following him out the door.
They started on their journey, with Jaeje sending a text to her friend of their arrival. Heeseung preferred to drive himself most times she found out as they parked in front of a small café with a lovely aesthetic design.
"It's so pretty" she said as they walked in.
"It's my favourite" Heeseung confessed as they stood in line at the cash register.
"I can see why" Jaeje agreed, looking up at the menu.
"Do you want anything?" He asked, noticing her interest.
"Not sure, I tend to figure these things out when I get there" she answered, eyeing their chocolate cupcakes.
After about five minutes they were at the front of the line, Heeseung ordering his usual as the cashier inputted it into the system.
"I'll have a small pack of chocolate cupcakes" Jaeje called out as she brought out her wallet.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for it" Heeseung told her as he brought out his credit card.
"Thank you" she said as she handed the cashier her money, still smiling at her boss.
Once they had finally gotten to Jay's office, Heeseung decided to break the silence as the elevator began to move.
"You know there's no need to thank me if you're just going to pay for it yourself" he tells her as she nods in understanding.
"I was thanking you for the offer, besides if buying stuff for a girl is one of your tactics, then you're going to have to step up your game or else I'm going to eat up your money and simply walk away" she admits as a look of irritation dawns on his face.
"If you're so aware of my intentions Mrs. Lee, then you should help me out a little" he tells her.
"Work harder boss" she advices as the elevator door opens up to reveal Jays office.
"Hyejin it's been so long!" Heeseung exclaims, dawning a grin on his face as he kisses the back of Hyejin hand, Jaeje rolls her eyes but hugs her friend nevertheless.
Hyejin reminds Heeseung about their encounter 2 days ago and asks for what they would like to drink before getting started on the meeting.
The meeting was over in an hour and it was time for Heeseung to get to his next meeting before he decided to make another pit stop.
Jaeje had gotten off the elevator to use the restroom which Hyejin directed her towards and said she would meet the both of them downstairs.
Heading back towards the elevator, she pressed the button and the elevator opened to reveal none other than Jay.
"Oh Mr. Park, did we forget anything?" she asked getting in, seeing he was also going to the ground floor.
"Not at all, I needed to hand this watch back to Heeseung" he replied showing her the silver watch.
