"Sorry" was all that came out of Heeseung's mouth as he detached his lips from hers, noting that she didn't kiss back, for obvious reasons.
"You are such an egotistical bastard" she said getting out of the car and slamming the door shut.
"Wait a minute!" Heeseung exclaimed as he rushed out the door and followed her, blocking her from moving forward.
"Don't you know how to leave a person alone? should I just get one of your sex buddies on the phone?" she asked, shoving him aside to continue walking away.
"I'm sorry for the kiss okay, it was in the moment-" he tried to excuse, but was quickly cut off.
"What moment?! exactly what kind of moment did you feel we were having for you to kiss me like that? no permission at all, how did you think I would react? kissing back and then everything just works out the way you want?" she explodes, poking him in the chest constantly.
"Maybe" he mutters quietly, looking away.
"You are such a spoilt brat, news flash sir, you can't always eat your cake and have it" she says and hails a taxi.
"Where are you going? we have a meeting to get to" he questions holding her wrist which she retracts from his grip instantly.
"Keep your hands to yourself" she says and gets in, telling the driver the location back to the office to get her stuff, trying to stop herself from letting out frustrated tears.
"Fuck..." Heeseung mutters as he gets his phone out of his pocket and calls the manager he had a meeting with, telling him they were complications on his way there and that it would need to be rescheduled.
Jaeje is back home in record time and Hyejin comes back about an hour later, starting a rant about something that happened at a golf club with Jay.
Jaeje is mostly quiet through their movie night as she ponders on just quitting, already wondering if she had actually gotten lucky with her boss and realized that she in fact, hadn't.
She never really thought she would quit a job after two days of working there, but she was honestly starting to wonder how people actually lasted working for that man.
It was obvious Hyejin knew about his nature, but definitely not to it's full extent or else she wouldn't have gotten her the job at all. Earlier she thought she could do with Heeseung's advances, but she can see where she got it wrong.
"Ok that's enough for today" Hyejin says as she turns off the TV, struggling to keep her eyes open.
"You finished early, I thought you guys were heading to another meeting" Hyejin tells her as they both clear up.
"It got cancelled" Jaeje excuses, not knowing what Heeseung later did and honestly not even caring.
"Ok then, goodnight" Hyejin yawns as she closes her door for the night, leaving Jaeje to wonder if anyone else has ever given in their resignation letter so quickly.
"You are a hopeless man Lee Heeseung" Jake says as he stares said man down.
"Jake-" Sunghoon tries to calm him down, but it's obvious his friend isn't taking it this time.
"I never though you could do it, but you managed to make someone quit in only two days, I don't know if I should laugh or cry" He continues, messing his hair up in irritation.
"The one time we beg you to compose yourself, you end up making things worse, you've managed to break your own record of how much of an ass you can be Hyung" Jake tells him, deciding to keep quiet while he's still partially calm.
"Why are you guys over reacting?" Heeseung says as he crosses his arms and rolls his eyes, equally getting frustrated with his friends.
"Do you really not care how you didn't even consider her feelings when you kissed her like that? this isn't a show where people will start kissing you back Hyung" Sunghoon says to him, getting angry as well.
"Worst case scenario, she quits" Heeseung tell them, at least glad he got a kiss, albeit it wasn't in a good situation.
"You know what Hyung? why don't you go home, it's late" Sunghoon says, done with his friend's attitude.
"No problem then" Heeseung responds, getting up from their couch.
"Like father, like son" he hears Jake say as he shuts their door.
"You don't want to eat?" Heejin asks as she sets a plate for herself.
"Not hungry" is all he says as he walks by and towards his room.
"Everyone's a saint" He says to himself as he undresses and gets a bottle of wine from his fridge.
"Where were people like them when I was still little? " he asked himself as he drank straight from the bottle.
'I do have to apologize though, that was a stupid move' he thought to himself as he laid in the dim lit room.
If he was being honest, he did expect her to kiss back, seeing as it wasn't the first time he had pulled something like that, but karma was a serious bitch.
"I'm not doing myself any good by thinking about this" he muttered and went into his bathroom to soak in his tub.
Despite himself, his mind went back to earlier as soon as his entire body was submerged.
So maybe he was over reacting and being nothing more than a brat, but why did she have to make it so difficult, and especially throwing it into his face that there were more than enough people to catch her actual attention.
Even though he was equally frustrated with their conversation, he couldn't find the mind to release his anger by shouting like she was, although most people would consider it stupid to talk to their boss like this, it's obvious her reasons were justified.
It most definitely wasn't the first time he got a girl angry, far from it, but he'd never had one of them actually say those things to him and even walk away even though they had somewhere important to be, she had a very bad temper that was for sure.
But then if he had to remember how he felt when his first instinct was to kiss her then....
"It was nice" he sighed.
