Jaeje had met Hyori later that night and the girl seemed a lit bit too energetic for her, but overall saw her as a great fit for Jungwon. She would be lying though if she wasn't jealous of the girl's luck while she got stuck with- well Heeseung.

The next day was filled with sightseeing and Jaeje couldn't describe how lovely it had been to spend a day all to herself, with Hyejin and Hyori of course.

After their little talk during lunch, Heeseung thought about his friends' words later that day.

"Um there's a big chance, just be careful or you might just end up falling for one of them these days" Ni-Ki teased.

Heeseung scoffed at the flashback, wondering if his friends thought so little of him, but then his mind went back towards someone he had been keeping stubbornly close these past few weeks.

"I haven't wasted my energy just to give up now" Heeseung wasn't an idiot, not by a long shot, he was well aware of just how much time and attention he had been giving Jaeje and what it would seem like to anyone who was watching from the sidelines.

And as much as what Heeseung says might be words to charm, he did speak the truth when telling her she was different from the others. A lot of girls had enough self- respect not to accept Heeseung's advances, and through his tactics they either feel that sense of a fairy tale love story and give in or downright told him to go to the depths of hell he crawled out off and Heeseung would lose interest.

Jaeje wasn't a challenge for Heeseung, his interest in her was more personal than it should be, he felt a heavy beating in his chest when he saw her, it wouldn't go away and it made him feel like he was burning up, couldn't breath and felt like he needed her to help stop all this.

"Heeseung my boy, this is your room" his father told him once the door had been opened. The room was the size of Heeseung's mother's apartment and he quickly rushed to explore it, it was just too amazing.

"Woah.. " he said in awe as he jumped onto his bed which had multiple toys laying on it.

"Thank you. " he muttered quietly as his father came to sit next to him.

"No need to thank me, I'm your appa, it's the least I can do for you" his father sent him a smile which Heeseung returned.

Appa. He never had one before.

He was about to speak again when he heard a car engine turn on, he looked out the glass to see we it was his eomma's car.

"Is she leaving, I better get going too" he was about to start leaving when his father held him back.

"You don't need to bother yourself with that, you'll stay here from now" his father said, his smile tightening.

"Will eomma live here too? " Heeseung eyes shined at the thought of him and his eomma living in the huge place.

"Sorry Heeseung, your eomma won't live here, only you" his father delivered the news gently.

"But-" Heeseung tried to say something, but felt his heart rate speed up when he realized what was going on.

"I want to go with her! " she screamed as he tried running out the door, but was quickly caught.

"You can see her whenever you want, she can always comment visit" his father soothed him.

"Really? " Heeseung sniffed as his father wiped the tears away from his eyes.

"Of course, please didn't cry, don't you see Heeseung, you're a prince now" his father said.

"Prince? " Heeseung questioned.

"Mhm, I'm going to make sure you live your best life" his father lifted him up and placed him back on the bed, by now Heeseung had already tired himself out from playing in the house the whole day, and the little episode had drained what energy he had left.

"With eomma too? " he asked and his father gave him a smile.

"With eomma too. " liar.

His father, Mother, liars.

It was anger.

The feelings for Jaeje reminded him of the ones he felt whenever he thought back to that day.

Heeseung had seen his mother times after that, he wished he didn't, wished his father had just kept her away, wished he had spent all his time at work instead of trying to spend time with him. They both loved him.

He hated it. Liars.

Heeseung got tired of laying down and stood up, by now everyone was in bed and he wanted some fresh ai- that was a lie, he didn't want fresh air.

Instead he had gone straight for the girls bed room, not having a plan in mind, but O well.

He knocked a couple times before he finally got a response.

"Why? " Jaeje grumbled annoyed. She was in her pajamas and already half way to dream land when he disturbed her.

Beautiful. He thought as he stared at her, because that's just what she was, Beautiful, without her glasses her eyes were much smaller and were hardly even opened. Cute

"Let's go out" he suggested.

"Noooo, it's late and I'm not changing" she exasperated and was ready to slam the door in his face. Again.

"I'm also in my pajamas and who cares if its late, the fair is as few blocks away and opened all night" he smiled at her.

Burning, choking feeling. Anger.

The girl was obviously too tired to process his words quickly.

"Go away" she tried pushing him, built ended landing onto his chest grumbling as her legs went like jelly.

He held onto her waist to keep her from falling, rolling his eyes at her drunk act.

He studied her face again, her face was filled with small features, eyes, nose, lips. Normally when you felt anger towards someone you would want to see them hurt too, but not Heeseung.

When he was younger, he was always angry at his mother, he always wanted her close. He was angry at his father, he wanted his praise and attention.

He's angry at Jaeje for her constant rejection, her bruising words on him that left marks in his head and chest. Her pride that reminded him of the one he had given himself all his life.

He just wanted to keep her in his arm like this, wanted her to look to him for protection like earlier in the pool, wanted to kiss her until she finally kissed back, wanted to wake up and see her peaceful face every morning.

"Maybe I'm just obsessed" He muttered to himself.
