Jaeje manages to get Hyejin off her back after awhile, happy when they're disturbed by the beginning of the ceremony and eyes the giant scissors used to cut the ribbon, she had an obsession with cutting things whenever she got her hands on scissors, it was a problem.
The lights from the camera hurt her eyes like there's no tomorrow and she's more than ok to enter the event hall where the party is taking place.
She joins the boys at the buffet table where she is introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Kang, the hosts for the event. At some point Heeseung places his arm over her shoulder which she is quick to remove, she gives him a look that says 'not now' because she's not in the mood for any gossip.
They all decided to try some of the watermelon and salt Ni-Ki ordered, something about having taken the combination a lot back when he was in Japan.
She notices Sunoo try to convince Jay to have some, which the man continuously refuses so he enlists the help of Hyejin. Hyejin not being sure of what to do simply holds out a piece to him, gesturing for him to take it.
He reaches out and for a second Jaeje thinks he's going to deny it again, but he instead clamps his hand around her wrist and bites off a bit, the watermelon still in her hand and Jaeje turns to Heeseung and gives him a look which earns her a questioning gaze.
"One more point for him" she teases and he scowls at her.
"If I were to do that I'd get a kick to the balls, so it doesn't count" he retaliates.
"That's fair" she nods.
"I want wine" she speaks up as she eyes the buffet table, shimmering with different brands.
"Let's get you wine" he leads her back to the table and grabs two glasses, handing her one.
"Ok this is good" she says after taking a sip.
"Trust my instincts" he clinks his glass with hers and takes a sip of his own.
"Heeseung, long time no see, let's go catch up" a random man walks up to them and slings an arm over Heeseung's shoulder.
"Hey, Jaeje this is Hyun-woo and Hyun-woo this is Jaeje, Hyun-woo is a friend from college" Heeseung introduces them.
"Lovely to meet you, you wouldn't mind me borrowing him would you?" Hyun-woo asks.
"Not at all, you'd be doing me a favour" Jaeje says and watches as Heeseung is whisked away.
"Finally, some peace" she says walking away and she holds up her glass for another taste of her wine.
Before she can fully comprehend what happens she feels the wine spill directly onto her dress as she bumps into someone, refusing to open her eyes out of sheer embarrassment.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" the voice speaks up and it sounds very familiar, opening her eyes she instantly recognizes the man who had helped her two days before in getting out of the office.
"You?" she questions and he gives her a sheepish grin.
"Let's get you cleaned up first yeah?" he tells her and she realizes her dress is still stained, thank God she's wearing red.
"I'll go to the bathroom" she says and walks out the hall, making a beeline for the bathroom.
Once she's done cleaning herself up, she steps out only to be scared senseless by the man waiting for her beside the door.
"Oh my days, why?" she asks, holding a hand on her chest.
"I wanted to make sure I didn't permanently fuck up your night, and I also wanted to pay" he speaks up.
"I don't even know your name" she tells him after a beat of silence.
"Keeho, my name is Keeho" the man, Keeho, introduces himself.

"Well thank you for the offer, but it's fine, it's not even noticeable anymore" she gestures to the he front of her dress which is nearly almost dried, any sign of the incident disappearing.
"Ok then" he nods sheepishly and Jaeje can't help but awe at his shyness.
"Also please don't think of me as this crazy stalker who followed you to the bathroom, I just realized that's what this seems like" he wiggles his arms around as realization dawns on his face.
"Really? Had no idea" Jaeje replies sarcastically.
"Thanks again for trying to make sure my night isn't ruined, but I should head back" she waves him off and turns to head back to the Hall.
Upon arrival she heads for their table where she sees a variety of snacks and begins to chow down.
"So, what were you doing with Keeho? " Heeseung questions as he drops into the seat next to her, eyebrows furrowed.
"Doing with Keeho? He bumped into me and split my drink on my dress" she explains in between bites of food.
"Since when was he following you to the bathroom a necessity? " he asked.
"Unlike some people, he was a being a gentleman and wanted to repay me for the dress, which I declined" she said rolling her eyes.
"Can I eat now? " she asks, wanting to just sit down for the rest of the night, alcohol mixed with social anxiety finally drained her energy.
"Fine, but I'm sure he's interested in you, I mean who wouldn't be, but I don't like it" Heeseung says, knowing his opinion doesn't matter in this case but giving it nonetheless.
"You cannot know that, I've only met the guy twice, and besides I'm not interested" and it was the honest truth, if anything Keeho seemed more like a friend in the making, Lord knows she needed more.
"Just-" Heeseung cut himself off, nothing like the thought of any competition.
"Oh my gosh you are such a baby" Jaeje groans and hands him a plate of snacks.
"Go eat this and fill up your stomach, you must be hungry" she gestures for him to walk away and leave her be, honestly in too much of a good mood to actually be annoyed by him.
"I want to eat with you" he pouts, but it's immediately overlooked.
"Get out" she shoves him away and he finally relents, heading back to the others.
