Lyra's POV

After receiving the text from Tasha, I was mad that she still had my phone number. But the fact that she paid someone to follow Freya is so messed up and concerning. What's worse is when I saw the picture of Freya with another girl. Someone more beautiful than me, and how Freya looked at her and caressed her face showed me they'd known each other for some time.

I am jealous of that girl, and I couldn't help but feel insecure. But then again, Tash may intentionally try to ruin our relationship. I guess I have no choice but to wait for Freya to come back.

I cannot lie that the pictures upset me, and when Freya told me everything about what happened, she only pitied her best friend cause, after all, that girl helped her during her ups and downs. Freya has no feelings for her, and I am glad that we are transparent with each other.

She hugged my whole body with her tiny body to cool me down, which caused me to forget what we had discussed just now. She knows how to make me feel better, and I really don't want to destroy our relationship because someone is trying to wreck us. I determined to confront Tasha for making me feel anxious about Freya. I have to stop her.

...

I called Tasha, telling her I wanted to meet her, and she agreed to meet me at her house. I don't know why I have a bad feeling about this. So, I drove to Tasha's house and saw a place that resonated with negative energy, especially when the house was black-painted. I didn't know she was rich until now. I guess I didn't know her well.

(Tasha's house)

Then, I saw her waiting outside her house, smiling like a devil. I know that my gut feeling tells me she's going to plan something evil, and I couldn't help but become defensive.

"I know you're going to return to me." She stated confidently.

The way she talked and smirked caused the trigger of my inner superior to choke her neck and let her die. I despised her so much, but I calmed myself cause I knew she would not back down easily. She let me in and invited me to her living room.

"Do you want anything to drink, Ly? Like the good old days?" Her upper lip curled with delight.

I am not stupid enough to fall for her game again. She might spike the drink, and who knows what she might do to me, so I strongly rejected her offer.

"Wow! So fiery than before. We could use that fierceness and go to my bedroom right now." She gave her soft smile and gazed hard.

"No, Tasha! I don't want to be you. Can't you just let me go and find someone else? You're the one who left me, and I wouldn't care less. I love Freya, and please stop disturbing us! I begged you." I distressed.

"I know I left you, and that's why I want to make it up to you and be with you. I love you, Ly! We can be together if you break up with that girl. I will not stop taunting you cause I know we are destined to be together. I can make you happy now that I have money. You can buy everything you want." She persuaded.
