Joella
"Seeing you twice in one day? It must be fate."
I brought my water bottle from my lips as I turned to the familiar voice.
Glistening brown skin covered in a black cut-out shirt and basketball shorts stood in front of me. My eyes trailed over the bulk of his arms as I met his golden-brown eyes.
"Hey, Brandon," I said as I took another sip of water. Mentally slapping myself for how high my voice went.
"Hey, Joella." He mocked in the same tone I just made causing me to roll my eyes and him to chuckle.
"I didn't know you came to this gym." He added.
"I normally don't," I answered honestly. Mentally reminding myself that this would probably be the last time I came to this gym.
"Well I'm glad you did today. Did I mention how amazing you look?"
His eyes trailed over my frame and I could've swore they grew darker.
"Brandon-"
"I know I know. You're with Haden. I hope he's treating you right."
"He is." I said with a smile.
"Good you deserve to be happy Jojo. You deserve the world." I couldn't help the smile on my face growing.
"Jojo?" I questioned.
Brandon chuckled slightly before running his hand over the back of his neck.
"Yea, that's my name for you. It needs to be different from Coop." He said with a bright white smile.
Just as I went to respond, I heard my name being called. I turned to see a very annoyed Tony and I couldn't help but smile at his unamused face.
"Are you stalking her?" Tony asked in one of the harshest tones I've ever heard him speak.
Brandon laughed hard at that and I couldn't help but smirk. His smile was infectious.
"No man, I'm not. I come to the gym like everyone else. You can calm down, I'm not trying to pull her away from your boss. I have a girl." He added.
I smiled.
"As you should. Do I know her?" I asked.
Brandon smirked before shaking his head.
"No you don't." He answered.
"Well I would love to meet her some day."
I wasn't sure of the look that crossed Brandon's face but it was gone before I could read any more into it.
"Yea you can, maybe we can do a double date?" He said.
It would take some convincing, but I'm sure I could get Haden to agree... Maybe?
"Hmm maybe is right. I'll see what I can do."
...
"Hell no" I rolled my eyes at Haden's back as he turned away from me. Tony just chuckled as I glared at him.
"He just wants to get closer to you." Haden stated. "I don't care if he has a girlfriend. That was the last thing he mentioned."
Tony nodded in agreement with his arms crossed. I sighed in frustration, but I knew I wasn't going to win this battle. Walking up behind Haden, I wrapped my arms around his waist and started planting light kisses on his back.
He sighed and I felt his tense body relax. "The answer is still no Ella." He stated and turned around to face me.
My arms still wrapped around his waist, I looked up at him with my chin laying on his chest. "I know." I said softly.
