John was usually one to trust someone as great a threat that Henry was but in this particular situation he had no choice, once again an alien weapon found in Russia ended up in Gotham and he knew he had to get it back but he needed Henry's help
John gets out of his car as he closes the door and presses the button on his keys which causes the car to lock he turns and starts to walk as a "Whoosh" causes him to turn over
He sees Henry in normal clothes as he walks towards him
John: Thanks for doing this.
Henry scoffs as he doesn't even look at John
Henry: I'm only doing this cause there's something in Gotham I need, otherwise I wouldn't be.
John wanted to ask what was in Gotham that was important to Henry but he knew that if he asked questions, he wouldn't get the help he needed so he just shrugs it off
The two men walk past an old postal office, it looked like it seemed better days, they stop at the end of the sidewalk as they both look out at Gotham
Gotham became mostly a ghost town, people wouldn't come to a town like this not after what happened many years ago with the new joker
As Henry looks around, John noticed at the corner of his eye a little girl lying just a building
John smiles as he walks up to her kneels down
Henry's gaze turns to John as he sees what he's doing, he walks over to him and taps him on the shoulder
Henry: Hey. What are you doing? *John looks at him* We're not here to be helping hands.
John: She's a little girl Henry.
Henry scoffs as John stands up
John: Are you seriously gonna tell me not to help this young girl?
Henry glares at John and he looks down at the young girl, he tilts his head as he sees the sadness in her eyes, maybe her mother had abandoned her, maybe she left her here because she couldn't handle parenthood, tears fall down her eyes as she cuddles a dirt filled blanket tightly
Henry snaps out of it as looks back at John
Henry: We have other business to take care of. Let's go.
John sighs as Henry walks past him not before bumping his shoulder into him as John slightly chuckles
He looks down at the young girl as he bends down to her
John: I'll be back.
John pats her on the head as he stands back up and follows Henry.
