Chapter 49: A Fight Against God

Godspeed takes his boot off of Speed Demon as he steps over him and cracks his neck, this was his moment, he had done what every other person has tried to do, he defeated Speed Demon

Now here he was in control now, Speed Demon just laid there on the ground, he didn't move, he didn't speak

How could he? Godspeed had taken him down, his power was unlike anything he had faced against the flash, or speed king, it was almost as if his power was at the maximum level of energy

Godspeed turns around as a groan is heard from Speed Demon as Godspeed bends down and grabs him by the jaw as he lifts his head up and uses his other hand to take of Speed Demon's cowl

Godspeed: I watched you. For years I've watched you wrap your hands around the people of this city, I've watched you control it, be a king, and I didn't feel bad, I didn't question it, no.... It made me wanna do the exact same thing.

Henry opens his eyes as he looks up at Godspeed

Godspeed: And now I am the king. Now I'm in control.

Godspeed throws Henry back down as he steps over him again

Nora: Henry!

Godspeed turns around as he tilts his head in curiosity as to who is calling the evil speedster, the white suited speedster runs as he turns a corner and comes to a screeching hault as he sees Nora and Bart running, but he didn't know who they were which made him even more curious

Nora and Bart stop running as they see the speedster in white as they both look at each other and then back at the speedster in white

Godspeed: And who might you two be?

He asks as he steps forward, lightning crackles off his body as he looks at the two of them amused for what he's done

Nora: What did you do to our brother?

Godspeed takes a step back, the feeling of shock covers him, the king of central city had a family, he had siblings, and standing here now he saw that the girl was actually worried for him, the brother on the other hand looked as though he didn't really care

The speed god collects his thoughts as he immediately runs and stands in front of Nora and Bart, he knew full well that they were just as much of a problem as speed demon was

Godspeed: Speed Demon has siblings. Well this is an interesting development.

Nora and Bart look at each other both knowing that they can't reveal their powers to this guy, hopefully he didn't know that they each had powers, at least that's what they were hoping for

Nora: Where is Speed Demon?

Godspeed chuckles as he tilts his head at Nora as the sister of the evil speedster takes a slight step back, wherever Henry was, she knew this guy had something to do with it

Godspeed: He's done. He's over. I took him down and now Central City will bow down to me.

Nora and Bart go slightly eye widen, they couldn't believe what they were hearing, it couldn't be true, Henry couldn't be down, because he was the king after all and no one has been able to take him down in the years that he's been in control

Godspeed: And you two are gonna join him.

Godspeed back hands Nora as she falls to the ground as he grabs Bart by the throat and lifts him off the ground as Bart struggles to get free and coughs as he looks down at Godspeed

Nora rubs her cheek as she looks up at Bart, she was worried he was gonna die, but Bart looks over at her and shakes his head not wanting her to get involved
