Chapter 31: A Fight Against Justice

You could feel the tension run high as the lightning crackled beneath his feet, once again a fight broke out between the legion but this time, it would be the last, no more allowing them to leave peacefully, Speed Demon was going to finish it once and for all

Mon-El ducks underneath his punch as he hits him right in the gut as Speed Demon stumbles back, but he turns around and kicks Brainy in the knee before elbowing him in the face

Irma grabs ahold of his shoulder but Speed Demon pulls her in close

Speed Demon: You can't escape the darkness

He says as he spins her around and then grabs her by the throat and slams her to the ground

He doesn't stop there as lightning crackles off his body as he runs at Mon-El and slams him against a car as he punches him in the face, Mon-El tries to escape his grasp but Speed Demon grabs him by the throat and squeezes tightly, he goes to shove his fist through his chest but he's grabbed from behind as Brainy throws him backwards

Speed Demon gets up to his knees as he glances around at his surroundings, Irma, Brainy, Mon-El, the three superheroes from the future who came here with one mission: To stop him but he wouldn't allow that to happen

Mon-El steps forward, with a smug look on his face, the ridiculous outfit he wore was obviously a cheap knock off of Superman

Mon-El: It's not to late to stop this, Henry. Just give up and stand down.

Speed Demon chuckles slightly as he stands up

Speed Demon: Make me.

Speed Demon and Mon-El run at each other as their fight continues

Meanwhile Mia runs down the street as she sees the fight between the two, she didn't like seeing Henry like this, fighting against heroes, she hoped that Henry would stop, that just maybe he would see the cause of what his actions were doing

Mia stops at a car as she puts her hands on the top of it as she breathed heavily

Mia: (Whispers) Henry.

Nora didn't know what to say to Bart to help him understand what she was doing, Henry was willing to give the city back as long as she proved to him that she could be trusted and the way to do it was giving him their fathers ring

Nora: Bart, please. If we give Henry dads ring-

Bart: Dads ring? God, Nora. You can't be serious.

But Nora was serious, as serious as she was that Central City was her home, all it took was the flash'a ring

Nora: If we give Henry dads ring, he will stop doing what he's done to Central City, we can have our home back

Bart shakes his head as he scoffs, he didn't believe any of this

Nora: Bart, listen to me. You know this is what we have to do, Henry will keep his word, he will give us Central City back.

Nora walks over to Bart as she grabs his hands protectively, she wanted him to trust her

Nora: If you won't trust Henry, then at least trust me.
