I take a deep breath before going to knock, but hear a clash. "I need the money! Where is it?!" I looked in the window to see a large bulky man holding Bell-mère by her throat and the other two were being restrained by two other men. My eyes flashed as I walked in casually with my training sword to be safe, "Nami! Nojiko! Bell-mère-san!~" I tilted my head, but flinched at Nami's tears. "... Let her go. Now."

The man laughed, "Little girl, you shouldn't stick your nose in other people's business. Be a good br-" I glared bloodthirsty, "Three seconds... One." The man laughed louder, "Look at her. Oi!" He pointed behind me as Nami yelled, "Behind you!" Just as they were about to touch me they suddenly dropped to the floor and passed out. "... Two..." The man dropped her and she started gasping and walked up. "... This woman owes me twenty gold... It's not too much, but they won't pay me." I hummed, "Twenty gold is enough to live comfortably for a half a year..."

He stood in front of me, easily towering over me by two feet. "Why would they owe you that much?" I flinched as Nami and Nojiko looked away, "Books. They wanted to buy some books." He laughed, "Twenty gold worth of books over two and a half years! How ri-" With-in seconds I was holding his mouth to the ground glaring with my eyes glowing. "Shut your fucking trap before I beat you so hard into the ground you'll call for your mother. Those books are the most precious to me and I read them constantly to better improve my armor and weapons, you pathetic and worthless sack of shit."

Gengi ran over to Bell-mère to check on her as the other two were running at me. I brought my katana up and quickly jabbed their throats. They began wheezing as they fell, "Gengi... Get them out of here and to the bar. I'll meet up with you there." He nods and grabs them before tossing them onto his back. Bell-mère tried to get up, but Gengi began singing to them and they fell asleep.

I turned my attention back to them, "Listen here. You deserve your money if they can't pay it, but you can't be getting violent. There's other ways to go about it. Being violent can get you killed." I let him go and got off as I jabbed the other two with the wooden katana to let them breathe again. "... Behave yourselves and leave them alone or you won't like what happens..." I pointed, "Out." They groaned and ran away as I began going through their house and packing their belongings.

As I was packing their things up, I saw their height markers on the wall. My eyes softened before I looked down and began cleaning up. I looked up to see Bell-mère and Rayleigh. I tilt my head, but blush brightly as Bell-mère hugged me and yelled, "Idiot!" I giggle and hug her back. I nuzzle her chest, "Hey Bell-mère-san... Go to the castle and have Nami and Nojiko work in the library there... You apply for the guards... You can use my garden to plant your tangerines and you can get set up there... Please..."

I tear up and hug her tighter, "Have Nami and Nojiko study to enter the Magic Academy..." She pulled away, "Iris, sweety... We're fine. We don't have that kind of m-" I smile, "I do... Before you object... All you have to do is work for it during the three years I'm gone. Make sure they study hard, ok? It'd be nice to have friends when I go..." She huffed and stroked my hair, "Alright kiddo... Here..."

She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a coin of some kind and began writing a letter and sealing it in an envelope, "See a man named Genzo in the adventurer's town in the next town about five hours north, Cocoyasi Village. Tell him Bell sent you and give him these." I take them and put them in my ring. I huffed and mumbled, "I'm running out of space in my ring. I'll have to carry things in my bag now." I looked up grinning, "Thanks for the info!" I wave and head out, "I'ma head out! I'll be back in three years, ok!" I start running, "Wish me luck in the frontier!"

I hold my hands out, "Gengi!" He appeared as I started maneuvering through the crowd, "Let's go!" He hopped onto my head as I casually dodged by twirling around people and making my way to the gate. I got stopped by a guard as he asked, "Ma'am, why in such a hurry?" He looked around, so I tilt my head, "I haven't been able to leave the city. I guess I got too excited and started sprinting."

He examined me for a moment then motioned me to continue, "Safe travels and be careful. Lesser demons still appear and they're dangerous. There's also bandits and traders, so even if you can't use one, I suggest you carry a weapon." I glance to the side and smile, "Thanks for the information! I'll be safe!" He nods for me to move on, so I skip on ahead. When outside the gate I held out my hand and slipped off my back pack.

I pulled out a banana and held it out, so he hopped down and turned big. He walked on shoved it in his mouth as I hopped on his back and started rearranging things. "I'll rearrange the food and put my clothes, shoes, books, and tent in the backpack... I'll also have a little pouch to carry a reasonable amount of money in it, so I don't have to become too big of a target..."

I put ten gold pieces, fifty silver, and three hundred copper into my bag before securing it on my bag. I slipped my cloak back revealing my nice, but still commoners looking clothes. The shirt was more of a kimono top that was made of silkweed and generic colyn, so it was comfortable. I had a leather belt around my hips that I decided to place my training katana on. I had black tights made of generic woyl with silkweed. Then my black dyed leather combat boots that had adimanatine bottoms. I made Gingi a collar that can match his size. It was golden like his eyes.
