Chapter 17: Established (Part 1)

I took a sharp inhale and slowly got up sleepily, "... Gengi?" He came out of the bathroom in his human form again as he handed me a solution of some kind. I drank it as my throat felt refreshed and wasn't hurting anymore. I jerked as there was a knock on the door, "Iri... They're leaving in about five minutes." I looked down as Gengi handed me a dress to wear. I got up then put it on, "... Can you go get the money for him?" He nodded and left as I put my hair up then walked out. Gengi met me at the front door with a ring.

I felt Minori hug me as he whispered, "I'll miss you and I'll see you in a few months, ok?" I huffed softly and hugged him, "... Ok." I then hugged Fiara, "... Good luck and have fun with whatever you'll be doing." She hugged me back then handed me an amulet, "If you ever go to my country, Orthyl, show them this." I nodded and took it as I put it in my ring then hugged Syl before he handed me an amulet as well, "If you ever go to Hazrith, show them this, ok?" I giggled softly as I put it up. I turned to Kytrose who hugged then handed me a large metal of some kind, "Try using this for your armor and weapons, ok?" I nodded softly then hugged Lial who handed me a mana gem, "Inject your mana and crush it whenever you're in dire need of help. It will alarm me and I can get to you to help. No matter where." I smiled softly and nodded as I put it in my ring.

I sighed shakily and made my way to the carriage and opened it to see Mikeal hiding his face in his hands as his legs bounced. He looked up as I glared. He got up, but groaned as I punched him off the carriage. I hopped down as he coughed, "You dare not say bye to me?" He got up and coughed, "It's n-" I jumped into his arms and shook as I muttered, "If you really believe me to be your sister... You better prove it by coming to the academy... No matter what..." He hugged me back and nuzzled my shoulder, "... Alright..."

I pulled away as Gengi got out of the carriage, "... I got all of you something... It's in the ring on the desk..." I grabbed Gengi as he turned into a rabbit again, "... Have a safe journey..." We waved as they rode off, "Be safe Iri!" I lowered my hand and turned around to look at Shanks conflicted gaze then to the side, "... After I eat, let's head to the palace... It's time to tell you everything and to tell you my future plan." I then walked with him to the dinning room where Art was waiting for us.

I talked with Art and Shanks while we ate breakfast. Today's breakfast was all my favorites as well as Gengi's special treat. After we ate we made our way to the palace. Once we arrived it was annoying and tedious as always, but I just didn't care. I wasn't rude about it though. I still had manners despite my years away from high society.

I looked up as I saw Uncle Sen, Garp, Anthoni, Roronoa Mihawk, and Vinsmoke Judge. All the Viscount and Earl's family leaders. I smiled softly as Uncle Sen motioned me next to him and we all sat down. I looked up as Sengoku and Shanks activated a barrier around us. My eyes glowed as I examined it and looked excited, so I got up examining it. "What're you doing Iri?" I held my hand out and touched it, "... It's so pretty. Uncle Shank's flaming red and Uncle Sen's golden white..."

I flinched and looked as the Eustass came in, "I apologize for being late." My eyes widened as I dashed at him I extended my hand and went to grab something, but Shanks was suddenly in front of me, "Gengi!" He nodded and jumped at Shanks before he reached me. I tackled Eustass and slammed my hand next to his head as I grabbed a familiar figure. A squawk could be heard as I got up and held it, "... You sneaky bitch..." I squeezed its neck and a demon bird with three eyes appeared. I looked down as he yelled, "What the hell is your problem Princess?!" I glared down, "... This is your familiar?" He yelled, "Yes!"

I looked as Uncle Shanks grabbed my shoulder with Anthoni, "Iris. Release i-" I glared, "How about listening to me first and my reason. Believe it or not, I am not a child. I might be underage and rash, but I am no child. After seeing the things I've seen and doing the things I've done... I'm no longer a child. No matter how much I want to be." I held it out to Gengi to hold onto as I took my seat, "... I'll start off with the bird then explain from the beginning... If this is indeed your familiar Eustass-san..." I glared, "Be prepared to meet with Yarisa-sama because that's not a normal demon beast. On my travels you can only summon this as a familiar..." I looked away as my eyebrows knitted, "After boiling ten women and or children. You must then pour the solution into a pill and administer it to a child for a month... The pain is excruciating..."

I looked down and grit my teeth trying to remain calm, but bloodthirst obviously leaked out as I growled, "Afterall that's what Teach was doing to Artarius..." I cupped my empty ear, "...
