Ginzo grabbed my attention, "You ready for the initiation?" I tilted my head, "Initiation?" He nodded and pulled out a piece of paper. "Copper adventurers have to bring in five Slimes and four Goblins. Silvers have to bring in an Ogre and ten Goblins. Gold has to bring in three Ogres and a Hobgoblin Captain." I held out my hand and brought out a large pouch. "I got thirty slimes, fifty Goblins, ten Ogres, three Hobgoblins, and a Hobgoblin Captain. I ran into five Goblin camps and an Ogre nest. I got the crystals for each camp as well. I was going to ask what to do with them."
Ginzo just gaped at me, so I tilted my head more, "She said to get used to blood, so after seven hours of hunting, throwing my guts up, and training I can handle it for the most part as long as it doesn't get on my hair or face." He rubbed the bridge of his nose, so I grew panicky, "I over hunted, didn't I?" He sighed, but Hilton burst out laughing, "Ginzo! You got a real gal here! Where'd you come from?" I blushed softly and held my necklace as it glows multicolored, "... The capital..." I grinned, "I'm going to become the world's best battlemage!"
He leaned on the wall, "One hell of a dream." He shivered at my smirk, "It's no dream. I will be the best battlemage the world's ever seen. There won't be a single town that won't know my name! I'll travel around the world and help those in need!" I smirked wider, "I'm going to become the savior! Laugh if you wish, but I am going to accomplish my goal and I won't let anyone stop me!"
I simply turned towards Ginzo as the guild burst in laughter. "So, can I see these and get my license, please?... I would also like to update my map and any quests along the way to the frontier." He sighed heavily and began counting the bounty. Hilton leaned on the counter next to me, "So, I see you're serious about going there... It's about a month's journey on foot... You sure you want to go alone?" I giggled, "I have Gengi..." I flinched and asked, "Do you have to register familiars?" I tapped the counter, so he hopped on top.
He nodded and handed me a form, so I began filling it out. He asked, "So, you also have a familiar... You're a weird one kid..." I giggled, "I've been told that a lot. I like being weird because normal is boring!" Gengi nuzzled my arm as I wrote, so I petted him with my right and filled out the sheet with my left. He held out a blank card, "Input your mana into it..." I did as asked as it glowed a pink and purple light, then shined like a wave. "Wow! So pretty!" I flipped it over and saw the symbol that appeared on my chest and throne when I first got Gengi. Then on the front was a picture of me and my birthday, class, and rank.
I giggled, "So neat!" I showed Gengi, who nodded, then looked at Ginzo as he pointed, "Show this whenever you want or turn in a quest at any guild. If you use it, just think of it and it'll return to you." I put it in my ring and nodded, "Alright, sounds good." He pointed to a large board on the wall. "Pick a quest from your rank section and you can make your way towards Yoryth. The frontier town." I looked up at Hilton as he pointed to a party, "We're heading to Jyra which is about a week away from Yoryth. Want to temporarily join us?" I looked at Gengi who stared at Hilton then his group for a few moments before he jumped onto my head. They seem safe, but let's be careful. They said a month, so let's be cautious and don't let them get too close for the first week. After that you can become their friends if you want.
I nodded softly and smiled at them, "Sure. I'll ride Gengi though. He's really soft, but doesn't like others touching him." I laughed softly, "Even my fiance, my brother, and childhood friends are debatable. Gengi's actually a little hormonal sometimes." I grabbed my necklace as it glows golden before smiling bittersweetly. "You have quite the emotions for a fifteen year old." I giggled, "Yup!" I pointed to the board, "So, when do you head out?" I flinched as he rubbed the back of his neck, "We were actually about to head out..."
I looked to the side, "Well, I don't particularly mind, but... I kinda wanted to have a shower..." I grinned as Ginzo pointed, "I'll let you borrow a room's shower. Only because of Bell though." I giggled, "Thanks!" I looked at him, "Give me about fifteen to twenty minutes?" He nodded and pointed, "We'll be out here." I nodded and waved as Ginzo got up. "See you in a few then!"
I hummed softly, petting Gengi as we made our way up. "Iris-sama... Are you really going to the frontier?" I nodded softly, "Yes. I need to get stronger if I want to be free and travel the world... I must be first place in the academy in order to be with Law... I want to be with him..." He opened a door for me, "... Good luck then and I hope it works out." I grinned, "Thanks!"
I hummed softly and quickly locked the door, set up a barrier, then took a quick shower with Gengi before changing into my new armor. A short kimono dress with thigh highs, knee high books, and fingerless gloves all made of Tuleweed. I put my hair in a high ponytail, leaving my bangs down before heading out. I kept my katana on my waist, but I slipped on my earrings and charm bracelet.
