Chapter 14: House ( Part 4 )

I took a soft inhale as I saw Mikeal sitting with Minori at the table agonizing over something. I sleepily rub my eye, "What's wrong?..." I giggled as Mikeal asked, "Do we really have to wear a fancy outfit?" I leaned on my knees, "Yup! I'll make you them though." I smirked, "You'll be promoting my line." They sighed, so I puffed my cheek, "What? You don't want my clothes?" I looked away as Minori reached over and patted my head, "That's not it. It's just a lot of work for you. You still have your own, right?" I looked down, "... But I won't see you for a while..." I flinched and looked up panicky, "Minori, you're going to the academy, right?!" He chuckled and leaned on the counter, "Of course I am. I can't leave my Captain somewhere I don't find safe..."

I smiled softly, "... I can't wait for you to meet them." I giggled, "Minori, you'll get along with Sabo and Zoro pretty well. Mikeal, it's fifty-fifty with Ace, but Sabo and Zoro should be ok." I laughed softly, "As for Law..." I scratched my cheek, "... Don't take his glares at face value, ok? It might be a little intimidating, but he glares about everything. He usually doesn't really express things well though." I smiled softly and held my necklace, "... Just three more months..."

We looked at the door as there was a knock. I got up and answered it, but blinked as I saw two familiar people. I grinned, "Nami! Nojiko!" I jumped down and hugged Nami as she hugged me back, "Whoa! They were right!" I leaned back and tilted my head, but flushed a bright red as she combs some of my hair, "Such a pretty silver-white!" I looked away panicky as Nojiko nodded and patted it, "It's beautiful!" Nami latched arms with me, "You can be with them later! We have so much to show you!" I looked at them then smiled as I waved to Minori and Mikeal, "I'll see you in a few hours at dinner!"

I looked up at Nami as she smirked, "So, which one?" I giggled, "... Nami, you know which one." She puffed her cheek, "Damn it. I wanted to see Lord Tora-o's expression." I blinked then laughed as we walked down the streets, "Lord Tora-o! That's too precious! Oh my goddess!" I looked up and smiled as I saw Bell-mère, Shakky, and Rayleigh. I waved and ran up as I hugged Shakky, "Hi Shakky!" I hugged Bell-mère, "Hi Bell-mère-san." They blinked in surprise before they smiled, "Hi Iri." I tilted my head, "What's wrong?" Bell-mère shook her head, "You grew up quite a bit, well..." She ruffled my hair, "Except your height."

I flushed a bright red as I realized my height compared to Nami and Nojiko. I yelled, "S-so what?! I made more progress in other areas! I don't need height!" I yelped and flushed brighter as Nami walked behind me and groped my chest, "Indeed you have." I swatted her away and hid behind Shakky, "I'll kick your ass if you try that again!" They began laughing, so I looked away and puffed my cheek. I looked at Shakky as she patted my head, "Let's take a walk around town, ok?" I nodded softly as we had a little woman outing.

Nami, Nojiko, Shakky, Bell-mère, and I just walked around and looked at different shops as I felt relaxed. More so than I have in a long time. I was smiling and laughing with them for the next few hours. It was eventually time for dinner and that meant it was time for everyone to be in the same room. Nami and Nojiko dragged me off into my room, "Let's go! We have something special for you!" I laughed, "Alright! Alright! I'm going!"

I looked up to see Sylvar and Kytrose walking with Yasopp and Ben towards us. I huffed and giggled as she pulled us into the side hallways and towards my room. After arriving Nami plopped on my bed as Nojiko went to my closet, "Nojiko has become a seamstress!" I blinked then smiled as I sat down, "... Is that so?" She carried out a few of my old dresses, but they looked at me, "Nojiko... I have a job for you..." I held out my hand as a few different fabrics came out, "Do you know how to manipulate mana?" She looked to the side, "... I don't have much, but yes." I grabbed my old sewing needle and handed it to her as I pulled out my own, "I'm going to teach you how to manipulate your mana into your clothing. First it'll just be simple reinforcement and you can gradually learn more and more."

I grabbed two old dresses as Nojiko and I began making dresses and Nami telling us what to make it look like. They were a little rough, but I showed Nojiko as I fixed it up a bit. I smiled as I took off the bow's and frills to make it more elegant, "Alright Nojiko." I held it out. It was a simple, but elegant blue dress with a low u-line collar. It had a scoop collar and the back had a cutout oval and hooked together at the top. The dress wasn't puffy, but wasn't too thin either.

I stood up, "Strip!" She yelled as Nami got up, "Excuse me?!" She protested at first, but we eventually got her to agree to wear it. I hummed softly and began adjusting it. I began adding small finishing touches as I talked with Nami and Najiko about a design. We made a golden lining and an outline of swirls, just like her tattoo.

After Nojiko was Nami. We made her a red dress that had a choker collar and no sleeves. It hugged her torso, but flowed down to her ankles. Honestly, no adjustments were needed, but as requested I made a diamond shaped hole in the back. By the time we were done with their dresses there was a knock. It was Ben, "Iri, dinner's done." I yelled out as I got up, "Alright!" I looked at Nojiko as she held out a dress, "It's not as good as yours, but..." I smiled softly and gently grabbed it, "... I have something for you two... I can adjust them real fast, so come here for a moment." They nod and slip on dresses I made for them as I slipped on Nojiko's.

She made me a light pink, slightly puffy, but flowing skirt. It had a white floral lining and sleeves. I looked up and smiled as Nami walked up and began doing my hair. I jerked as Nami asked, "Where are your other earring? I only see one." I held it, "... It broke..." I smiled, "Let's... Not talk about it, ok?" She nodded softly and put my hair into a french bun as I put my scarf into my ring, but kept my bow and crown on. Nojiko simply put a hairband in as Nami put her hair into a ponytail and kept her bangs down. I slipped on a pair of flats I got from the store. Nami and Nojiko wore heels though.

We talked on our way there, but I blinked in surprise as when I opened the door Shanks, Art, Shakky, Rayleigh, Bell-mère, Anthoni, Garp, Luffy, Uncle Sengoku, Mikeal, Minori, Lial, Sylvar, Kytrose, Nami, and Nojiko all yelled, "Welcome back!" I teared up, but grinned, "I'm back." I laughed softly as I saw my throne from all those years ago at the head of the table. I sat down as they sat down. Uncle Sen raised a glass, "A little personal party for Iri's return as well as for one's to bring her home and her trusted friends." I cheered as we all began eating and talking.

I looked at Minori and puffed my cheek as he teased, "I never thought I would see you in a dress. Well, not a real one." I huffed and looked to the side, but flushed a soft red as Kytrose nodded, "You look very good in it though." I looked away, "Th-thanks..." I glared as I was begging to be made fun of. The evening went on as we talked, ate, and partied into the night. It wasn't until ten that everyone made their way out.

I looked up as Mikeal and Minori asked, "Are you coming?" I looked down, "... I'll give it a try tonight... I'll see you in the morning." They were quiet for a moment before waving, "Night Iri." I waved them off as it was soon just Shanks, Lial, and I. I flinched as Lial sighed, "Make sure to come get one of us if you need to." I smiled at him, "I will... Night Lail. Night Uncle Shanks." I reached over and grabbed the last banana then walked out as Gengi laid on my head sleeping.
