However, I suddenly felt a tug then cold on my wrists and a cloth on my mouth before I was tugged into a carriage. "Go!" I looked up and my eyes widened as I saw familiar people. My eyes glowed as I looked at Gengi. Get Rayleigh. I have a tracker. Hurry. I kicked him out the window before I felt a sharp feeling on my cheek and liquid. I headbutted the man holding the cloth then raised my foot to hold Clara by her neck as I spit out the rag and yelled, "What did I ever do to you?! How's you even find me?! What do you w-" I groaned as my vision blurred, but I leaned on my hands and kicked the man with all I could, breaking the door and sending him flying.

I teared up and jumped out of the carriage onto the crisp snow. I looked around as I saw us in the forest. I jerked as she yelled, "No! Stop the carriage and get her!" I huffed softly as I began running. I wasn't wearing my armor, just normal clothes, nor did I have access to my weapon because that required my hands the most I could manage is a small object that I could manipulate with my mana. My eyes widened as I remembered the dagger Lial gave me.

I took it out of my ring, but dropped it as I heard footsteps. I quickly squatted down and searched for it. I jerked as I saw them in view, so I searched faster and was able to grab it before sprinting off again. I applied my mana to it as it was soon lighting with purple and pink light. I yelped as I felt a gash and liquid drip down my back. I quickly turned and brought my leg up and round housed him in the face as he got sent flying, but I coughed up as I felt a burning sensation in my stomach. I looked down as I saw blood drip out of my mouth, but I gritted my teeth as I controlled my mana to slit his legs with the mana controlled dagger for him not to follow as I took the sword out and covered my wound in mana to keep it from bleeding out.

My vision slowly grew blurry as I felt my body burning and heavy. I gritted my teeth and slapped my cheek to wake me up before forcing myself to continue. I looked up to see Clara. A tear dripped down my cheek, "... Why?... What did I ever do to you?!... I thought you were my friend!" She wore a conflicted expression, "I lost my baby to the royal family... They should know what it's like to lose theirs." I barely dodged her stab as I yelled, "Why is it our families fault? Blame the knights that arrived too late to help! Uncle Shanks and Uncle Sen love everyone in this country and will never abandon anyone! They will go onto the frontlines if it means saving people!"

I flinched and my arm was sliced as she yelled, "Then where are they?! Where are the nobles to help with the demon beasts?!" I yelled, "I'm right here! Fighting to save my country from annihilation! I fi-" I coughed as I was kicked, "Some halfass attempt to help by sending a little girl who's i-" She stopped talking and stared and the tears streamed down my face and cried, "I didn't do anything wrong! I'm trying, so why am I being blamed! I'm fifteen years old! What do you want from me?! To die?! Are you saying that if I die it'll make you happy and at peace? Truely? That's bull shit and you know it!"

She went quiet before I heard a thud in the snow, "You're right... Killing you... Fighting for vengeance... Won't bring my baby back..." I looked up, but went wide eyed as she had a sword to her throat, "I can only be with him if I die..." I screeched, "Don't do it!" She smiled softly at me and whispered, "Thank you..." I cried out as a spirt of red fielded my vision, "Stop!" I stumbled over as I laid my forehead on hers and yelled, "I'm not letting you die Clara!" I shined and covered her neck in mana, but that left me to bleed. "Gengi, come!"

There was silence, so I froze before I screeched, "Gengi!" She smiled, "The keys are in the carriage... The cuffs block long range mana... Including summoning. It only works if it's within ten feet of you... Other than that..." I hiccuped as I began crying harder and louder. She shakily reached up as she stroked my hair, "... I'm sorry Iris... I really am... To make you go through something like this... My anger and drive for vengeance got the best of me. When I saw your crying face I got reminded of the cries of my friends that were attacked."
