It's been a month of me building up my strength again and preparing for the most important quest of finding my old bodyguard and the man trying to resurrect the demon king, Marshall D Teach. I finally perfected my armor and scarf to the latest and greatest it could be. Each fiber of my armor and scarf are filled with my mana. It's not an exaggeration to say that they're basically a part of me. I adjusted Minori and Mikeal's armor as I upgraded Sylvar and Kytrose weapons. After the entire month we were fully equipped and ready to go.

The advancement in technology in just a year was insane. Our carriage was taken down and redesigned to fit Minori and Mikeal on the bottom with my own area at the top of the carriage. They managed to create a spatial distortion which made you be able to fit twice the amount of things you typically could fit. So, we had enough room for two floors, although Mikeal and Minori were barely shorter than the roof.

I was upstairs with a separate section for the storage while Mikeal and Minori shared a bunk bed downstairs. We still had our kitchen, bathroom, and closets, as well as our shared desk area and a small table we could eat dinner at. Apparently Lial, Sylvar, and Kytrose felt more comfortable on horseback and tents, so they brought theirs. Although they had their own upgrades. It was temperature controlled and warded. Also had a small bed and chest inside as well.

I'm now laying on my bed humming and drawing everything I wanted to show Law and Ace, including the bad things. This diary held all the most memorable and important details of my journey. Next to each drawing was a small description detailing the event drawn. I looked at my watch as it glowed purple, meaning Lial was calling. I pressed the button then continued drawing and humming, "What's up Lial?" He sighed, "Just... Making sure you're alright. You haven't come out for a few hours now and the rest of us except Sylvar went hunting." I looked to the side, "I'm almost caught up on everything. I'll be done in about an hour." He huffed, "Alright... See you soon." I giggled before hanging up, "Yup!"

Just like I said, I finished about an hour later. I sat up and put my book in my chest before hopping down the ladder to see Gengi preparing the herbs for dinner. I smirked and tackled him, so he leaned forward, but simply caught me by my thigh and held me up, "That's dangerous Iri." I puffed my cheek, "Fine." He let me down, so I sat on the counter and watched him, "Hey Gengi... I love you..." I saw him look up surprised then chuckled as I smiled softly at him.

He walked in front of me with him in between my legs and hugged me. I hugged him back as he nuzzled my chest and whispered, "Iri is my most important person... I love you more than words can describe... I'm happy that Yarisa-sama let me be with you..." I giggled and nuzzled his head, "Me too Gengi! You're very important to me. Every single one of you are. No one more than the other."

I pulled back and smiled, "Including Law. I love Law so much, but Gengi... I love you just as much. Just in a different way. I want to marry Law and be with him always, but Gengi... I can't live without you. I need you by my side always... Without you, I wouldn't make it. Gengi is my best friend and my family..." He leaned his forehead on mine, "... I'm not ever leaving you Iri. I'm on your side, now and always. No matter what happens." I teared up, "Good!"

I blinked then looked down, "Gengi... Law was chosen, so..." I teared up more, "Does Law have a female familiar? What if he ends up l-" I flushed brighter as he leaned against me and burst out laughing. He laughed out, "Oh my goddess! Iri, you're too much!" I yelled, "What?! What's wrong with asking that?!" He cupped my cheek and whispered, "Every familiar that a God or Goddess sends down is a male and is always an animal. The animal is presented as the person's favorite animal."

He chuckled as I blushed softly as he kissed my cheek, "You're just too cute sometimes Iri." I looked to the side and held my cheek, "... Shuddup." He chuckled more, "I'm done with the herbs, so let's go take it out." I nodded softly as I hopped down and helped him carry everything out. I smiled softly as they came back with a few deers and a dead monster for Gengi. Gengi sat to the side and began absorbing the mana as the rest of us made dinner.
