Goodbyes

Chapter 21:

Alex's POV

After my dad had picked me up from the hotel the car ride was quiet..and my dad's eyes never met mine.

He finally broke the silence.

"Alex..what happened?" He asked hesitantly.

I leaned my head against the window and squeezed my eyes as I began to feel the tears develop in my eyes.

"Alex? Are you okay?" He asked placing a hand on my shoulder as his eyes never left the road.

"I'm fine." I sniffled.

"Alexandria, I can tell when your lying." He smiling warmly at me.

"Dad, I don't wanna talk about it." I told him sternly as I sat up straight in my seat wiping away the last of the tears that were on my cheeks.

"Just know that I'm here for you, okay?" He removed his hand from my shoulder and smiled at me. "Always."

I gave him a weak smile, and the rest of the car ride was silent and soon after my eyes began to feel heavy and I fell asleep with my head against the glass window.

Ronnie's POV

Alex fell asleep in the car while I was driving back to my hotel where the rest of my band mates were.

She had called me in tears and I could tell she was hurting but she wouldn't admit it.

She looked so peaceful in sleep.

She was so beautiful.

She looked just like her mother.

Alex had mascara stains running down her cheeks so I could tell she had been crying..but she wouldn't tell me why and it was killing me.

Just then her phone began to ring..I chuckled at her ringtone.

'Pick Up Your Phone' by Falling in Reverse, my band.

I grabbed it out of her purse and looked at the caller I.D. Before unlocking it to answer.

"Hello?" I asked quietly so I wouldn't wake Alex.

"Mr. Radke?" A familiar voice asked.

"Hello Emily." I greeted.

"Hi? Are you with Alex?" She asked.

"Yes, actually she's right here..but she's asleep." I told her.

She sighed.

"Emily, what's going on?" I asked worried.

"Alex didn't tell you..?" She asked hesitantly.

"No, she won't tell me anything." I said.

"Her and Harry got into a fight, and she ran out of the hotel room..she looked really upset." She told me.

"What was the fight about?" I asked.

"Well...here's the story..." Emily told me everything. Taylor and Harry, Harry not actually kissing her, Alex finding out from a magazine, how she told him she loved him...

It all made sense..

Alex isn't one to show emotion and this Harry boy helped change that.

"Emily-" I was cut off by the phone being snatched from my hand.

"Emily?" She asked with anger in her voice.

"No. I'm done. I-, I'm sorry. I'm leaving. No. My dad. Don't tell Harry. It's not your fault. Good bye." She hung up and threw her phone back into her bag.

"Can I stay with you for awhile, dad?" He asked cautiously.

"Of course sweetie." I smiled.

"Thanks dad." She wearily smiled at me.

"I love you dad.." She whispered.

"I love you too, bug." I paused. "Forever and always."

"Forever and always." She repeated.
