Let's Meet Again, For the First Time (Eren x OC)

"Didn't see your car out front, need a ride to work?", he asked, "That would be nice, thank you".

"See you later tonight Sasha!", I yelled as we left the store, "Bye guys!". "So what's going on with your car?", he asked, I sat myself in the passengers seat of his car.

"No idea, there's an engine light on- my dad told me to take it to a shop", I sighed, the stress beginning to cloud my mind. "Let me see if I can fix it before you spend 200$ on an oil change", "Fix it?", I questioned.

"Yep, I built the engine for this car myself, I know a thing or two", I laughed, "Do you now?". I tilted my head to the side, "So you can fix cars but can't drive them?", I joked, "Shut up", he smiled and shook his head.

"You off tomorrow?", he asked, "Yeah", I yawned, "I'll stop by and take a look at it then". "Thanks Eren, I appreciate it", I smiled, he returned it, "Yeah, yeah".

He parked in front of our place of employment, "Do we have to go in?", I sighed, "Let's just leave". "I wish, but I do need a place to live", I left his car.

I stopped for a moment, not knowing what his living situation was. Mikasa and him shared that apartment, but were they still together? Or was he staying with a friend? Was it awkward to bring up?

"Your light wasn't on last night", I said without thinking, instantly regretting it. "Yeah, I'm staying at Armin's place till I can find a permanent solution", he opened the door for me.

I won't deny it, I felt relived that he wasn't with her. A spark of hope ignited in my stomach. But I still wondered, why didn't he show up last night?

"You can always stay with Bec and I if you need to", I said plainly, "I might just take you up on that Spencer Bradley", he grinned. "Hey guys", Armin and Bec smiled at us.

"Ay, people are coming over tonight", Eren said quickly, "Wait what?!", Armin followed us.

"Eren!", Armin whispered aggressively, "The old gang wants to party, and you know I cant say no", Eren shrugged his shoulders, "Connie and Sasha?", Armin perked up. "Yep", "Bec!", Armin yelled.

"Yeah?", she approached the bar, "Plans tonight?", he asked, "Not yet", "You're coming over after work", "Looking forward to it", she smiled.

The shift continued as normally, Eren and I stealing looks from one another, smiles and jokes split between us.

My eyes lifted from the liquor bottles and I caught Bec and Armin. His eyes gazing down into hers, and hers looking up into his like he was all she ever wanted. That look in their eyes...pure love. It made my heart melt in a different way, a way I couldn't describe to you. I could see the pure happiness in her eyes, and the trust in his.

And nothing made me happier. Knowing that she found her person.

"Spencer Bradley, martini, stat", Eren snapped me back into reality, "On it", my eyes stayed on them as I made the drink. "He's really happy with her", He said from behind me, "They look like soulmates", "Yeah", I could tell he was close behind me. That if I moved back just an inch, we'd bump into each other.

"Almost something I've seen before", he said quieter, I began to shake the cocktail, "Oh yeah?", I looked behind me, my eyes meeting his instantly. "Yeah", our bodies close as his words lingered in my mind.

"How long have you two been together?", an older single lady sipping a martini at the bar asked us.

We both smiled widely, "Just a month", I said with a grin I couldn't hide. "And it's been Paradise", Eren added.

"The way he was looking at you just now, was the same way my husband looked at me", her smile was warm and welcoming. "And raw love like that, is only seen once in our lives", she paused, "Don't let go".
