Sheo's Story

Chapter Four

Shai's POV:

I look at Theo, trying to register everything. Did he really just ask me for lunch? Of course I'd love to go for lunch with him. I nod, and said "yeah, that'd be nice" we walk down to our cars, and then awkwardly look at each other. We decided to go in his car, and pick up mine on the way back. I don't know where we're going but I don't think I care. His music starts playing and I can't help but laugh, he looks at me innocently, but then laughs too admitting he hasn't got the best taste. I see the shining, yellow 'M' in the distance and giggle. "McDonalds hey?" And he winks, "only the finest." We park and he opens my door, holding out his hand to help me down, I didn't need the help but I wanted a reason to hold his hand, so I took it. We walked into McDonalds and I smile, admiring how handsome he is, I think it embarrasses him because he blushes and looks away. I get my purse out to pay as we get further down the line, but he makes me put it away insisting he pays. We both order a milkshake and chips, but mine comes first so I sit in a corner booth, purposely where it's more private. Minutes later he joins me, and says "we should've got one milkshake, two straws" jokingly, and I can't help but smile. "That's cliché" I say with a smirk.

Theo's POV:

Seriously, I've brought her to McDonalds. For some reason it was the only place I could think of which wasn't too fancy in this area. I didn't want her thinking it was a date, as much as I'd like it to be, I don't want to scare her. She has the most amazing laugh. I put two chips under my lips like a walrus, and I just realised what I'm doing. How embarrassing. She finds it funny though, so it makes it a little bit better. I'm still talking in my American accent, I think I should probably stop. "I should probably lose the accent now" I say with a smile. She looks shocked, then a massive smile spreads across her face. "I absolutely love it" she says trying to mock my Englishness. I don't mind.
