Sheo's Story

Chapter Seventy-Five

Shai's POV:

I wake up wrapped tightly in Theo's arms, I can feel his muscles relaxed and warm. Although I'm awake I don't quite have the energy to open my eyes yet. The last couple of days have been exhausting and for a few minutes I just want to be here. I think about how secure I feel in his arms and how that's something that has always been, I remember when we done the jumping scene in Divergent and we were still getting to know each other, but I had never felt more relaxed in the arms of someone else. I get distracted from my day dream by the contracting of his muscles as he stretches. I open my eyes and meet his gaze, smiling. 

"Good morning lovely." He says in his morning voice which I adore. It shows his vulnerable side that I'd like to think only I have seen. After a few more minutes of just smiling at each other aimlessly we both sit up, and he pulls his phone from underneath his pillow. "Robert answered." He mumbled and I look over his shoulder to read his reply. 

Theo, 

This is problematic, but before we get into that I would just like to congratulate you both and the best of luck. 

I do not want to change the actors as one film has already been released, the only solution I can think of that we can both agree on would be delaying the filming of the movie. We will have to release some kind of apology to the fans and that would mean having to explain the situation, so that will be whenever you both are ready. 

Obviously, we will want to get back to work as soon as possible once the baby is born. I do understand Shailene will be very, very tired so I am willing to give her a week or so to gain her energy back, but really once she's feeling better it should all be about getting back into Tris' shape and back on set, please. 

You are more than welcome to bring the baby on set with you, we can hire people to look after him/her or there will always be cast members available. It's up to you what you do, of course.

I look up to Theo who is already looking at me, waiting for me to finish. 

"What do you want to do?" He says, locking his phone and dropping it on the bed in front of him. 

"Well, the fans definitely deserve an apology from us, so we should think about doing that soon-ish, and we can think about care for the baby nearer the time." All of this talk gets me so excited, but for once I feel genuinely bad. We're going to be disappointing a lot of people by delaying this film, hopefully they can find it in their hearts to be happy for us too. Theo nods his head in agreement and a sudden rush of happiness comes across me as I remember the events of last night. "You never got to tell me about the house." I say blushing because we both know what got in the way of that. 

"So," he begins with an excited charm in his eye, "I have just got to pay the deposit, and from then it'll be monthly, but we can start moving in as soon as that deposit is payed! Which will hopefully be today!" My jaw involuntarily drops, today? I swear this man is full of surprises, even when I think we've got to the stage when we can't even have surprises anymore. I hug him tightly around his neck and thank him multiple times for making me so happy. I can't wait to tell my mother we'll be closer to her and Tanner, and I physically can't wait to tell Tanner about his little niece or nephew, he'll be an amazing uncle. 

"Thank-you so much Theo, but when are we going to London, we should really go and do this before we move house, one stress at a time right?" I say laughing so he doesn't think he's ruining my life again. 

"When do you want to go?" I hadn't even thought about when I wanted to go, I just know I want it over with now, so we can really get on with our life. 

"Now." I blurt out without even thinking about it myself. Theo's eyebrows raise and he is obviously shocked by my enthusiasm.

Theo's POV:

I try to think of reasons why we can't go now, but there are none. Honestly, I'm just too scared to admit to myself that this journey could cause a division between our family, but also a massive connection once I've told my mother about the baby. I look up and even Shai looks surprised herself by how sudden she wants to go, but I do think it's a good thing to do. 

"Okay, you pack, I'll get tickets." I say with a wink, because she knows I hate packing. She crawls off the bed and gets some clothes together for herself and all of her other stuff. 

"How long are we going for?" She calls in from the bathroom, and I hadn't thought about that. I don't want it to be a quick visit because I haven't seen my family in a while, and I want to see Lewis and Aimee again, and I really just want a bit of a break with Shai away from here, but I don't want to be gone too long because I can't wait to get back and start moving in to our new house and decorating all of the rooms. 

"A week?" I call back asking if she's okay with it and I see her stick a thumbs up from round the bathroom door, it confuses me at first but then I hear the sound of her brushing her teeth and it all makes more sense. I text my mum to say we'll be visiting and we're leaving today, no doubt that will shock her too, and I also text Shai's mother, because we have something special planned, and that date will need to be changed now too, it could even work out better this way.
