Shai's POV:

Okay, today's my test with Theo. It's 4:00 am and I can't sleep, so I decided to have a shower. To wake me up some more. I wonder what we'll have to do today, I really can't wait to see him again, but I'm also nervous. I never actually asked him if he's single. How stupid, of course he has a girlfriend, he's amazing. I get out the shower and decide to go on a walk. I put on some leggings and a hoodie, and found my converse. I found the woods to walk through, it was still dark and the air was damp but I loved it. The only sounds were small animals scattering about, and the sound of my footsteps. My hair was getting in my way so I tied it into a messy bun, no one could see me, and I don't care if they could. I walk further into the woods admiring the beauty and purity. I don't think people come here often as it seems untouched. I love being alone, but I'd love to come here with Theo some time. I've found a nice place to sit and watch the sky lighten and go into a daydream. I don't know how long I was sitting there, but I was interrupted by the sound of my phone vibrating. I look at it for a while whilst my vision clears. It was Theo.

'Shai, where are you? Are you awake? I've been knocking for a while now!'

Why does he feel the need to knock at 6:00, it's kind of cute though. I laugh and wish I was back at the hotel sitting with Theo.

'I'm in the woods Theo, I'll be back soon'

I can't help but noticed he stopped sending a kiss. Maybe he realised it meant more to me, maybe he doesn't like me even as a friend. I'm probably overthinking, I always do.

'The woods? Shai are you safe?'

Bless him, I forget he doesn't know how much I love the nature. I'm always out when I have the time.

'Yes I'm safe, it's beautiful. I'll have to bring you here so you can see'

I want to invite him with me today, but I don't think we have the time, and for now, I like this being my area. I know I have to start making my way back so I redo my hair, putting it in a neater ponytail and begin my journey back to the hotel.

I'm walking down the hallway to my room and see Theo leaning on my door. "Theo, what are you doing?" I laughed. "I don't know, I was worried Shai. I wanted to know you got back safe" I can't help but laugh, he worries so much. "Well, here I am" I say with a smile. He laughs and I open my door, I hold it open so he can come in, I don't want him to think I don't want him around. I change into jeans and a plain t shirt. "Theo?" I asked. "Yeah?" He replied, looking up from the TV. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

Theo's POV:

Why does she want to know if I have a girlfriend? Is there actually a chance she might be interested in me? I always make jokes when I'm nervous, it's something to hide behind. "Yeah, 6" I say with a wink. She laughs and pushed my shoulder, "No seriously," she said "we should get to know each other". I don't have a girlfriend, but what if this is her way of telling me she has a boyfriend. She probably does, she's flawless. "No Shailene, I don't have a girlfriend," I said smiling shyly "do you?" She laughs a lot. "No Theodore, I don't have girlfriend either" I get embarrassed and I feel my cheeks heat up, I didn't mean that. She answers again, but seriously this time. "I'm single, no boyfriend". I didn't mean to look so happy about it but I smiled anyway, it's so unbelievable she's single. I see her check her phone for the time and she looks panicked, I look at the time too. We're late. We run to my car and get to the studio as quickly as we could and end up running to the room we're supposed to be meeting Neil and Veronica in, as we enter we're both laughing into each other. And Neil smiles, "good to finally see you" and before I could reply Shai was already approaching him for a hug. "We're sorry, we just lost track of time" she says with a smile. I've never been in this room before, it had white walls, and one mirror wall. It made the room feel massive. There was a desk with a few chairs behind it where Veronica and Neil sat, they were discussing something but I couldn't hear. Shai was tying her shoelace and I realised she was fiddling with things. I walked over to her and she whispered that she was really nervous. I wanted to comfort her but I didn't know what to say, so I just held her hand and squeezed it a little smiling. "You'll be great" I whispered back, and then looked away so she couldn't converse.
