Theo's POV:
I wake up to my phone ringing. It was Shai. Shit, I've over slept. I answer in a deep, croaky voice. I've never really been a morning person.
"Hey Shai"
"Theo, get up, we've got to go." She says in a gentle voice, it makes me smile.
"I'm up, I'm up... I'll let you in"
"Okay," she says, I can hear her smiling. It makes me smile too, I'm so exciting to see her today. I open the door and she's standing on the other side, looking so natural. So beautiful. "You can hang up now" she says. I look her in the eyes whilst hanging up, and pull her in to gently place a kiss on her lips, and she pulls back after they touch. "Get ready!" She says laughing and pushing my shoulder back into my room. I already don't have a shirt on, because I sleep shirtless, so I quickly wash and put deodorant on. I change clothes and smile at Shai. She has no idea how beautiful she is, at all. As we get to the door, I don't open it. I turn around to face Shai and think about seeing everyone today. "I don't think we should tell people about yesterday, and us," I say, she looks worried and it makes me feel bad, "I mean, Miles is upset and we don't want to make it worse, I'd be so proud to tell everyone, but we can't do that to him." She smiles, and looks relieved. I wonder what she thought I meant. She agrees, and we leave the room, walking side by side.
Shai's POV:
Theo told me he didn't think we should tell anyone about our kiss, and 'us' he said. At first I thought he regretted everything. That he realised I'm nothing special, but then I realised he referred to us, as 'us'. I know we're not official but are we together? I don't want to ask because I like how we are now, I just think I'd like it to be labelled a bit better. We get into his car because he drives every day now, I wish he'd let me drive but he never does, I think he thinks it takes away his masculinity. So I let him.
When we get to the studio everyone's waiting for us, Neil looks amused but reminds us that it's our second time being late. He didn't mean it seriously but I took it that way, we can't keep being late. Miles walks over to me and tells me he wants to talk later, so I agree and we start filming. I can't stop looking at Theo, and whenever our eyes meet a spark goes through my body. I really couldn't concentrate. He knows the effect he has on me, he keeps smiling to himself, and raising an eyebrow when he sees me smiling. In the middle of a break Neil walks over to me and Theo and asks to speak privately. I thought it would be about us being late, and that we need to start being more punctual, but it wasn't. When he got us alone he had a grin on his face, "I thought you'd guys end up together," he said looking proud. I gave Theo a strong glare. We weren't meant to tell anyone, what if Miles had found out? Theo looks back at me questioningly and looks at Neil. "We're not together Neil, what makes you think that?" Theo says. Neil laughs and pats Theo on the shoulder in a manly kind of way. "I see things like this, I've seen the way you look at each other, the way you react when one touches the other, I know there's something going on, and to be honest, you guys are great, I think it could be something special. Anyway, why else do you both keep turning up late together?" He says with a wink. I can't help but smile, giving our game away. I really like the fact Neil thinks we look good together. It makes everything feel so much more right. Theo reaches to hold my hand and I take his, he looks down into my eyes and smiles whilst saying to Neil "yeah, I'm lucky."
We go back to set and Miles looks at me worriedly whilst Zoë runs up to me, she asks me what it was about, "being late," I lied, knowing if she found out about Theo and I, she wouldn't be able to keep it a secret. She'd be too excited.
It's finally the end of the day, and I tell Theo I'll meet him in the car because Miles wanted to talk to me. I stand by the door waiting for Miles to clear his stuff up, he's never been the tidiest of people. He's ready and he walks over, running his fingers through his scruffy hair.
"Shai, I'm sorry about yesterday," he begins, "I just get jealous, really easily. I didn't mean what I said about Theo, I get he's just your friend, but I want us to be more."
"Miles," I stop him, "I'm so sorry, but I don't see you like that. I see you as a brother, someone to look out for me, or someone I can go to if I need a shoulder to cry on." As I say this I see anger slowly take over his eyes.
"It's him, isn't it."
"No!" I say almost too quickly. "Stop assuming everything's to do with Theo, he's just a friend." Miles started to look awkward so we said a few more apologies and goodbye. I get to Theo's car and he's pretty engrossed in something on his phone, so I quietly wrap my arms around his neck from the side and peck his cheek, bringing him back to reality. He smiles, and holds my hand, asking what Miles wanted. I debated for a minute whether to tell him or not, but he deserves to know, so I explained.
