Sheo's Story

Chapter 90

Shai's POV:

Theo and I decided to have a few weeks completely isolated from everyone else, we've rarely looked at our phones and just really connected with one another on a level we've never really experience before. He's been so nice and caring towards me and I don't know what's gotten into him, although I'm not complaining.

We thought today we would actually look at the comments and responses we've gotten from the video on Facebook. Obviously we know that we can't let the negative ones get us down, but I know I'll find it a lot harder than I'm letting on. Theo looks down to his first, followed by a big grin on his face, which I soon mirror as his smile is contagious. 

"Honestly Shai, everyone is pretty excited about the baby," he laughs and takes my hand, "I mean of course there's one or two negative comments but compared to how many amazing comments we're getting I wouldn't even worry." I can't help but laugh. All of this worry and the fans are as excited for the baby as we are. Sometimes I forget that they've wanted us together for a long time. 

Just as we decided to turn our phones off Theo got an email from Neil. I'm going to miss him being around on set even though I am excited to see how it will be different this time. 

Shailene and Theo,

I would try and take credit for all of this, but I understand that you were both a big part in the creation of this baby, also it would have been nice to have had a call or something ;) On a serious note, I knew the minute you two first met something special was going to happen, although I never would have imagined it to have been this serious, and this great. 

I will definitely come and visit you on set when you start filming again so I can meet your little one, and catch up with you all. I wish you all the happiness in the world but I know you give each other that.

I find myself laughing with Theo, Neil has been incredible to us throughout filming, we do have a lot to owe to him. Theo and I turn our phones off again and place them on the bedside table, putting on another film. 

Theo's POV:

Shai's been asleep in my arms for a few hours now, I would usually wake her up as I know she doesn't like sleeping through the day, but she's not have much sleep recently due to the bump getting in the way of her comfort. I wish there was something I could do to help her, but there just isn't when it comes to sleeping. 

Something from Neil's email has really stuck on my mind, I know he was joking when he said we should have called, but we should have. Neil was a great friend to both of us when we were on set, and he was really understanding and supportive when Shai and I were keeping things secret. As much as I've loved being in my own world with Shai and feeling like it's only us that matter, I'm making a promise to myself to always remember those around me also. Shai will always be the priority, but we wouldn't be where we are now without our loved ones. 

I carefully lean over Shai to get my phone, whilst she's asleep there's nothing else I can really do. Once it's turned on  I see a message from my mother. The first words I see are 'Theo, I'm truly ashamed.' My heart falls straight into my stomach and I feel slightly sick opening the message. I see it's a picture taking on the newspaper in London and the headline reading: Theo James flees back to wife after knocking up ex - Ruth Kearney - whilst in London.
