Shai's POV:

After a long flight home, we have finally made it. The flight didn't feel as long as it was but apparently the way home always feels quicker, and it went so fast anyway because Theo and I got so lost in conversation about my pregnancy and how excited we are. We've decided to only tell our parents so far as we really, really wanted to tell someone. After all it will be their grandchild. We even bought a postcard to save for him or her, so they can see where we found out that we were going to have a child.

At the airport Zoë and Ansel met us as they wanted to help us get all of our stuff back to Theo's and spend some time with us. They looked really pleased to see us as we walked through the gates, and they managed to make many jokes about being newly wed and the things we were doing on our honeymoon. I laughed along because I could tell they've been making the silly jokes up the whole time we were gone by the sounds of it. I lifted my suitcase and Theo rushed to take it off of me way too soon, telling me I shouldn't be carrying heavy things, causing Ansel and Zoë to look at each other in confusion. I gave a stern look to Theo to sort it out, because I am not telling them yet. "She's my wife, am I not allowed to carry it for her?" He said with a wink, shaking it off as Zoë and I walked ahead laughing at them both. "He really loves you, you know." She said looking back at Theo, I laughed a little. "I should hope so, otherwise the whole wedding thing is kinda awkward." I replied still laughing, she nudged me a little bit and laughed along, putting her arm round me. "It's good to have you two back, it's been boring without you both."

We got to our apartment and just before I was about to walk in Theo lifted me to 'carry me over the threshold' although I'm not sure what that's ever meant I kissed him anyway, I still feel a rush through my body whenever we kiss, it's like we're still a couple of teenagers falling in love for the first time. I really wanted to pack our stuff back to where it's supposed to be because it will bug me all day, but we're supposed to be going out for lunch with them, I smiled at Theo because I could tell he knew that's what I wanted to do, but after getting changed and quickly washing, we left anyway to go out.

Ansel suggested we go to a posh restaurant about half an hour away, we complained a little bit because we were all so starving, but he said it was worth it and we had no choice but to agree, so he drove us there. Whilst me and Zoë sat in the back talking about the honeymoon and the wedding, the guys were talking about the latest sports matches or whatever in the front. I knew it would take some time to get used to being back around people, but even know I miss Theo and he's right in front of me, I hate sharing him, but it is nice to catch up and find out everything that's been going on in reality. I keep catching eye's with Theo and I think he's feeling the same as me, I have to look away because I can't help smiling or laughing. I know Zoë knows exactly what's going on because I can see her secretly smiling along with us, but I'm not going to bring it up because it's just awkward for me more than anyone. I changed the subject from the wedding because it was just making me want to be with Theo even more, instead we decided to talk about Zoë's life.

Theo's POV:

We arrive at the restaurant and Ansel was right, it was worth the drive. The waiter seats us in a secluded part where we can eat in peace. I sit next to Shai because I miss her being close to me and for the first time since we got back we're all in silence whilst we look at the menus. The waiter comes back to take our drink order and before we had a chance to say anything Ansel blurts "champagne is in order for our new husband and wife over here," he turns his head and looks at me, "don't worry it's on me." He said smiling. Shai looks at me automatically, clearly worried because she can't drink, and orders a water as well. I can see Ansel looks confused, and slightly hurt that she doesn't want the champagne, he clearly thought it was a good gesture and it really was. "Thank you Ansel that's great!" I said, sounding as sincere and thankful as I can, "she had a lot on the flight" I said, nudging Shai and winking at Ansel to make a joke of her water order, and he laughed too. Keeping this a secret is going to be really hard for the next couple of weeks when everybody wants to see us.

Whilst we're eating our meals Ansel and Zoë tell us all these crazy stories and we both sit and act like we're finding them funny, but all I can think about is how I want to be alone with Shai. I place my hand on her upper thigh under the table so they can't and I hear her inhale slightly. It makes me smile because I know I still have that kind of effect on her. She places her hand on top of mine, and for now that's all we can do. I can see her out of the corner of my eye looking up at me every now and again but I can't look back because I know I will end up kissing her. God she's so perfect.
