Eddie:
You and Eddie meet up with your parents at a restaurant, Eddie is extremely polite and tries to make a few jokes, which luckily go well. Your parents ask him some questions which Eddie narrowly avoids, since they don't know about his side 'hobby'. At the end Eddie hears lots about your childhood from your parents and you cringe, he laughs and kisses your hand, saying that it's adorable and calls you sweetheart. Your parents are immediately won over by how he accepts you as you are completely, and they love his honesty. Though they do dislike his attitude to school...
Steve:
Steve is the one who actually arranges to meet your parents, he invites them over to his house where you both prepare a meal, your parents are very impressed by his forwardness and like that he's confident about how serious he is about your relationship. He asks loads of questions to them and they all talk, whilst you sit and eat, flabbergasted at how well his charm is working. At the end they're won over by his flattery and absolutely love him. The only thing your parents dislike about him is how he doesn't have a clue what he wants to do work wise for the future...
