"We can't be seen going out at the same time!" You whisper hurriedly to Eddieas you peek around the edges of the bedroom, the house party in full swing.

"It's not like anybody is going to notice" He laughs, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

You swat his hand away, trying to frown but it ends up as a smile.

"No one can find out about us" You say earnestly, biting your lip.

He nods, "I know, but I wish we could just be a normal couple".

You sigh, agreeing, "Me too, but since when has either of us been 'normal'?" You laugh raising an eyebrow and waving a hand between you both.

He laughs, tucking you behind him as he looks around the corner of the door.

"I'll go first, and you come out a few minutes later, okay? If anyone asks just say you got lost" He tells you as you nod.

He takes a breath, about to step out of the door when a voice shouts from the other side.

"Are you two done in there, we all want to play a game and your holding us up!" You blush furiously as the door swings open fully. There stands Nancy and Steve.

"Shit" You and Eddie mumble, looking to each other wincing.

"What are you on about?" Nancy says, a look of confusion on her face. Suddenly realisation hits and they both burst out laughing.

"What?" You ask, it comes out more aggressive than you anticipated.

She inhales between laughs as Steve joins in gasping.

"You thought" A laugh. "That you both. Oh my God I can't" Laugh. "You thought you had everyone fooled". Laugh.

Your face falls and your stomach drops at her meaning.

"Everyone knows you're both dating dude, we just didn't want to pressure you into revealing it" Steve says, laughing too.

You and Eddie look at each other, before breaking into a laugh too.

"We've been sneaking around this whole time!" He exclaims, shaking his head.

"Nah dude, we all knew. And I definitely knew the minute i heard you both in the bathroom...I heard...quite a lot actually, you really know what you're doing man, don't you" Steve gasps out.

You turn ten shades redder as Eddie wraps an arm around your shoulder, kissing the top of your head.

"Aww that's so cute, but can we go hang out instead of worrying now" Nancy coos, dragging you down the hallway as you turn back and see Eddie giving you a light smiley shrug.
