Eddie- Toe Stubber

You sway your hips awkwardly from side to side, one hand raised in the air as you hold a half empty beer can, jamming out to Eddie's music.

Eddie laughs as you fail miserably at dancing, but thanks to the alcohol you don't care, especially as you begin to try and do the Footlose dance.

Eddie can't bear to watch you any longer, so he gets up and joins you as you both move around the trailer, letting your bodies move to the music, you both look ridiculous but at least it's fun.

However it goes terribly wrong when you suddenly stub your toe on the coffee table, letting out a series of expletives that would make most of Hawkins blush.

"Jesus Y/N, don't hold back on the language!" Eddie laughs, shocked that you know so many swear words.

You frown at him as you double over in pain, grabbing your foot and hopping around like a one legged duck.

"Owww" You whine, laughing a little at Eddie's reaction to you.

Eddie keeps laughing, so much to the point where he stumbles back and bashes his heel against another piece of furniture.

You let out a shriek of laughter as Eddie now groans in pain, the both of you giggling at each others faces.

You're the first to end up on the carpeted floor, clutching your stomach as you giggle, now sounding like a strangled goose.

Eddie soon joins you, laying by your side as the laughter slowly fades into small chuckles.

"I haven't laughed like that in so long" You say to Eddie, turning your head to look at him.

Eddie looks back at you, smiling with his adorable dimples, "You've been with the wrong people then".

You nod as Eddie's hand finds yours on the floor, "Is your toe okay?" He smirks.

"Yeah, it'll live, how's your foot?" You reply, holding back another bout of laughter.

"It'll survive" Eddie responds, rubbing circles on the back of your hand with his thumb.

"Let's leave dancing to the cheerleaders" You say, staring up at the ceiling as you and Eddie both lay side by side in a comfortable silence, with only his music playing in the background.
