Once again I've been asking people to show me the way as my navigation skills have not improved. But just as usual I take my time. I don't get to legally leave the city quite often afterall. Street artists are dancing around me, I get to taste great food and listen to foreign music. Those are the times when I desire to live a normal life. But then again, I wouldn't be free. Tristan's birthday will be soon as well. I should seize the oppurtunity to buy him a present. It should be something special. I notice a jewelry shop nearby and decide to take a look. There are crystals in the same color as his eyes. This is perfect. If I manage to enhance it, it could be a powerfull gift. I pay for it. No need to steal a gift. Now that I am satisfied, I continue my journey. It is not far until I reach the western end. If everything goes as planned I will be back by tomorrow evening.

Tristan Coulter has been spying on Ean Astery the past weeks. Now he is well informed. The advanced killer has a habit of going to the training grounds in the morning, when most of the killers are asleep. Tristan would wait for Ean to finish, so his energy would be drained and attack with his dagger afterwards. This way their powerlevels should be about even. This will probably be his only chance to kill that guy. Tristan couldn't stop thinking about what Roxanne said. She told him not to let his heart get chained by the past because the past doesn't exist anymore. If he seeks for revenge, he won't be satisfied afterwards. He knows that. But he frankly doesn't have another reason to live anymore. He has to many regrets. He couldn't protect his people. He should have died in their stead. As the regular killer sits down in his hiding spot, he waits for his target to show up.

I finally arrived. It is easier to get your orientation together here because the castle is huge. You can't miss it. I knock out one of the guards in front of the grand gate and steal his clothes. No one will suspect it if a guard enters. I make my way towards the royal garden. This is not safe for a prince at all. Something is wrong. As I ask one of the maids about the wherabouts of the prince, they tell me he is on an excursion far, far away. Oh c'mon. I got here for nothing. I mean at least I can make myself a good time here. I am tired... I eventually got some money, fresh clothes from the royal dresser and went to sleep in an inn. There is something bothering me ever since I have picked up the diary. Apparently, my future self had the goal to become the queen of demons as soon as she entered Kallistine. That is not true for me though. That means between the moment I first read the book and the moment Miya took me to the city of assasins, something has happened. Something that changed the story. I open the book and start reading: "No one is on my side right now. I can't trust anyone. I will have to achieve my goal quickly. The king is waiting. He is impatient." Interesting who is the king? In Kallistine there is only a queen. And she wouldn't wait for anyone. Besides why would no one be on my side if I still have Tris, Alice and even Miya? I start doubting that this diary was written by me in the future. There is to much that just doesn't make sense. I close the diary and fall asleep. As soon as I wake up, I leave the inn. While I was sleeping, the prince might have gone far away so I should hurry a bit. After once again asking my way through the people I finally reach a pathway leading to a couple of chained horses. They smell like human nobility. Disgusting. But I know I am at the right place here. It is an improvised camp for soldiers, surrounding a carriage. Bingo. I wait behind a tree until the patrols come close. I grab both of their heads and smash them together. Alright. Everyone else is still sleeping. It is almost noon. What's wrong with them? They are behaving like Blast. Anyway, I silently make my way inside the carriage. Two people are sleeping there. A woman and a man. He is probably that prince. I wonder what his screams sound like. But I should finish the job before I wake up the other guards. Suddenly the woman's eyes open. "What do you think you're doing?" She asks, seemingly scared. Hm... if she is his lover or anything I could have some fun indeed. I threaten her with my blade, telling her that she would be dead if she just dared to scream. She obeys and I wake up that prince guy. He looks at me with a terrified expression. "Who are you?" He asks. I smirk as I expose the spade. No words needed. Both of them start kneeling. Once you're faced with death, you will show your real personality. Why do people choose to be whimps? Rather die with pride than being remembered as someone who begs for a life you didn't even deserve. "Let us live. We'll do whatever you want." What are they saying? If I had a personal grudge against them that might work but begging an assasin is good for nothing. "Alright. I will let you go if you manage to entertain me a bit. Start undressing already. It has been a while since I have watched a theatre." I laugh. They actually do as I say? Are you kidding me? This human race has the brain cells of a knocked out ape that thought it would be a good idea to use snakes as scarfs. But I can watch the scene until I kill them. It is fine.

There he is. Ean Astery. Tristan closely observes as the advanced killer starts training. It was not difficult to hide his presence as the blonde is a human after all. Still he has to be cautious. Once Ean is done, he approaches the way back to his house. At that very moment Tristan disappears from his hiding spot and tries to attack but is met with a dodge. "Who are you, boy?" Ean asks. Tris reveals his identity and earns a chuckle from his enemy. "I thought I eleminated everyone of that clan. Great job surviving. But attacking me in here is a stupid idea you know." Within seconds Ean is in front of Tris aproaching his face with his sharp nails. Just in time, the blonde can dodge with only getting the bancs of his hair cut off. The longer the fight will get, the more he is at a disadvantage so he doesn't dare to stay still and keeps attacking. Ean has no problem with dodging it. This is tiring. Time to use his father's gift. The Coulter's demonic magic was explosion. If there is any kind of material, he can make it explode. The killer's eyes widen as he witnesses the demonic aura. "You are a demon." He states. Now Tristan is at an advantage. He keeps attacking with explosions, forcing Ean to keep his defense up. Only one more hit and he will kill him. Both of them are already exhausted but with Ean's blood dripping from his shoulder, he will definitly die if nothing changes. But this is what the universe does. It changes things. Suddenly it is hard to breath and Tristan falls on his knees almost paralyzed. Guards appear from behind. Followed by her. Alice. God damned. That snitch. As they cuff his hands they seem to miss out on a detail. The ground is material as well. The blonde uses all the rest of his demonic powers as he releases magic through the earth, making the ground under Ean explode. The advanced killer is dead. And Tristan Coulter is on his way to the imprisonment cell.
