"Who are you?" I read the words as they appear on the paper. I answer into the silence: "Roxanne Helion. I'm a superior of the demon clan." Once again, letters form into a sentence: "No, you're not."Confused as I am, I start asking questions. "Then, who do you think I am?" Instead of a response, a question appears: "Do you want to know? Who you really are? Whatever the price?" I think for a moment. "I do." Suddenly, the diary goes up in flames, and my heart starts burning like hell. "What are you doing to me?" I cough as I try to hold myself up right with one hand grabbing onto my chest. A voice starts talking."You agreed on this. Now, you should be responsible for feeling the pain of all the people you tortured and killed." Suddenly, there are stars everywhere. Where am I? "Those are the memories of your victims. Endure them." The stars seem to rain down on me. Crashing and killing me. I scream as I suddenly hear all the voices of different lifetimes shouting in my head. My eyes go blanc as I see many unknown and yet familiar people. I see families and laughing children. I see dying women and bullied beggers. I sense it. Everything. It's driving me crazy but even though I cover my ears, I can't shut out the voices. Even when I cover my eyes, the scenes continue. "Kill me already!" I scream out of desperation. Suddenly everything goes silent and I try to catch my breath. "I can do that for you, but you will not get any answers this way nor will you achieve your goals." I catch my breath and clear my head. Is that what I want? Is this the justice I have always craved for? I open my eyes and inhale deeply. "No. Please, I want my answers. Bring it on." And thus my heart experiences this unbearable explosion again.
I open my eyes as Suzy tilits my head to the side. "Thank you, honey. I don't want to be reminded of this again." Touching my face, I realize I teared up during sleep. Luckily, my little tigress came to the rescue. The sun seems to have already risen. I should get going. It would be impolite to arrive late at my own appointment. "Let's go. Suzy." The cat follows me as we approach Zavia.
Miya carries the assasin's leader onto the dry land. "I have no idea how human anatomics works, so please forgive me, master." She puts her lips onto the white hair's, hoping to get her breathing. The supreme killer doesn't even notice her tears falling down onto her friend's face. She wishes silently if there is a god or fate or whatever you may call it. Just this time, she wishes for help.
Sierra was watching Miya. The short haired assasin used to be her student. She is still unable to understand how and why they care for each other that much. Helion was only doing what she thought was right in the two centuries she had lived. It seemed like this was not enough. For a second, she has empathy with Miya. The way she tries to save her friend reminds Sierra of the many comrades she had lost in the past. Ever since growing, she's become numb to that feeling. Still , she can't leave her student and friend like this. "This is your last chance."
Miya feels her markings disappear. She has turned into a human. What happened? She tries activating her magic, but it wouldn't work. However, something beyond magic seems to happen in that very moment. Evia opens her eyes as markings appear on her. Miya's markings. She touches Miya's face with a smile. "Why are you crying? Did you miss me?" The short haired falls into a hug with her friend, not seeming to let go for minutes. Evia bursts into laughter as Miya gives endless apologies. "Alright, alright, I forgive you. But you gotta teach me how to use your cursed magic. It seems like someone has helped us out this time." Miya nods just grateful to see the albino alive.
Elhain and her two companions have finally reached Zavia. It's the late afternoon, and the people seem to be busy preparing for the night festival. As they reach the place they were meant to meet, Roxanne doesn't seem to be there yet. That's when they see the white creature. It's beautiful yet terrifying. Is it a cat? Or even a tiger because it is rather tall? Something in between, maybe? "Carefull. This thing has claws. It might be the one that ripped out the child's liver that night." Elhain tenses up. That means it belongs to Roxanne? Ray suggests: "It seems like we should follow it." The female agrees, and they go after the cat thing creature. It stops close to a forest where it jumps next to someone sitting on a large rock. "Good evening." The woman sais. Kain pulls out his weapon. "She is the one from the wanted poster! Stay back both of you!" But Elhain steps forward instead. "Don't worry, she is my sister. She won't hurt us." Roxy shows a slight smile. "Thanks for trusting me, gorgeous. And thanks to the other two coming here." Ray straightens his back. "You... You are Roxanne?" The demon lady faces him. "Yes, brother, nice to meet you. Btw have you gotten stronger yet?" This is when Ray knew it. "You cut off my arm!!" He screams, ready to attack and only being held back by the terrifying cat glaring at him like he is her afternoon snack. Roxanne's face turns cold. "Shhhh, I don't like noisy people. Besides, you're the only one I left alive. Is this your way of gratitude?" Ray wants to say something in return but is interrupted by the confused Kain. He looks at Elhain. "She has just confessed to cutting off your brother's arm. How can you be so calm? And why did you want us to meet? Did you know who she is? She is a demon!" Elhain looks down, feeling guilty. "Hey, don't blame her! I would have met you anyway. Maybe more violently, so stop making her feel guilty!" Roxanne defends her sister. Kain shuts up immediately. After a long, uncomfortable pause of Roxanne staring at her three guests, she breaks the silence. "I want you to play a game with me."
