"Anyways, I've won this round. So you guys will keep playing." The three of them try to come to their senses but fail miserably. C'mon, this is just a simulation. It's not physical. They should be able to deal with this much. I sit back down and start lecturing: "You see for the dead it's not important to know your reasons. Everything that counts is that you have ended their lifes. This is why I don't care about the number of people dying by my hand. Each of them is an individual. If you killed one, you can keep killing. The amount of pain stays the same. The same goes for you guys. If you can't save all of them, don't bother saving one. It won't make the pain lighter for other individuals." I wait a few boring minutes until they seem to think clearly again. "Round two." I announce. "Wait!" Elhain sais as she gets back up on her feet. "We're playing your games by your rules. Shouldn't you give us some answers in return?" I think for a moment. Why not? It will make things interesting. "I'll grant you one question after each round. Deal?" Elhain seems slightly relieved that I granted her wish. The three of them seem to discuss which question would be right to ask. Finally, Kain speaks up: "What happened to our commander? The previous general?" I wasn't expecting that.

Elhain studies Roxanne's face with interest. For some reason, this question seemed to have caught her off guard. If the letters and documents they received were right... Roxy must have been behind Coulter's vanishing. It's only natural for them to ask such a question. The white haired's face becomes stone cold again. "He got executed." Ray glares at her. "It was you, right? You killed him."

It's no use arguing with those fake heroes. They will only ever see what they want to see. Besides, I have no interest in talking about Alice. I still can't be mad at her. She only pledged her loyalty to me. She had no obligation to serve Tristan. Still, she dared to kill my only friend, so she had to die. Miya didn't give me any details that night. She only mentioned that she threw the alchemist's body into the river of Kallistine. "Yes, you're right. I killed him." Ray hisses in disgust: "snake!" His comment makes me chuckle. I shouldn't think of old times like that. I can have some fun in the present. Elhain comes closer. "I know you're lying." Not sure what to reply. I simply raise an eyebrow. She continues: "You don't simply execute people. That's not a demon's style." Oh, so it's about that? "Well, I also tortured him." I feel uneasy because I can't exactly understand why my sister's eyes are looking at me like that. Full of pity. It makes me angry. I act faster than I can think and grab my sister by the neck. "Don't you dare look down on me, human!" I whisper with gritted teeth and a threat in my eyes. Elhain's comrades try to come closer but are being stopped by Suzanne. Elhain talks silently, trying to gasp for air. "Sister, please. Show us what happened to him. You may as well kill us afterward if you want this to be kept secret, but please don't lie. For your own sake." Was she always that good with words? "Fine." I let her down. "Watch what you wouldn't want to believe."

The three of them are suddenly at a river. Two people are sitting there. They can't see the three of them. Elhain recognizes the soft black hair and purple eyes of her sister. She looks so pure. Her eyes seem to reflect the sparkle of the river. The man sitting next to her has blonde hair and green eyes. It's the commander. So... this must be Kallistine City. Roxy was really one of the Black Stones. Suddenly, they are inside a wooden chamber. the black haired seems to have injured her foot. Coulter treats her wound, and both of them get outside. Elhain and the other two follow them. Elhain's eyes widen as she sees how Roxy shakes the blonde's hand with a smile. "I trust you." The female says. Instantly, the location changes once again. Now they are inside a cave. Everything around them sparkles. Roxanne rests her head on Tristan's lap as both of them talk. It's kind of moving how that little girl seems so happy next to her friend. The three of them seem like being in trance while being shown so many situations. The demon and Tristan fight, eat, and even drink together. Once again, they are being teleported but this time into a cell. Seemingly for prisoners. They frawn as they see generall Coulter chained inside with lots of bruises but still smiling at his friend and joking around while Roxy desperately tries to hold back her tears and is finally being knocked out by a woman behind her. The woman carries Roxanne outside towards a big mansion with cherry blossom trees. Elhain's sister is being taken care of and placed onto a bed. There seems to be some sort of time skip. Rain is pouring, and Roxanne is fighting with the previous woman. "I can't go and save my only friend." She eventually falls on her knees and cries heavily as bells start ringing. Someone has died, it seems. The three rebells are back at the present, looking at Roxanne, who slowly opens her eyes. She seemingly didn't want to recall that memory. Elhain stutters, but the words won't come out. Finally, she manages to form a sentence. "I am sorry." Roxanne doesn't answer but shows a dagger instead. "Round two."
