Evia Hakai smirks as Roxanne Carrington enters the throne hall with an immense aura that might be frightening to others. That girl is the fastest ever rising killer she had met. Evia remembers when Miya first brought that brave beauty here. Back then she was a child with hidden talents. Ever since, she had experienced a lot. If you look at her now, she is a matured woman who is respected by all of the citizens in Kallistine. Her eyes have changed. Roxanne bows and greets the leader of assasins: "I greet her majesty, master Evia. The supreme killer, master Miya." Today Evia will give her a task that will show if she is capable of receiving the title of the advanced killer. As long as Miya is alive, this is the highest possible rank for any member of the Black Stones. "Rise." The albino orders. "You have contributed great value to Blast these past seven months. You have never disappointed in a mission and even made the higher ups acknowledge you. Today you will have to prove your capability one last time. If you succeed, I will grant you the title of the advanced killer." She nods and lets Miya continue. "These past days there has been a dark presence approaching the barrier. It is most likely someone from the demon clan or even the demon king himself. It is likely he comes here to do business or simply because he wants to create chaos. Your task is to make sure he doesn't." Roxanne nods and leaves, followed by the supreme killer.
Miya will be of help as I try to sense the demonic energy from around the barrier. It seems to have stopped right there when you get inside. Does that mean the demon has turned around? No... that is unlike a demon's character. I sit down in front of the river and close my eyes. Miya seems curious. "What are you thinking about? Don't you want to catch him?" I open my eyes again. "There is no point. No demon would show himself during the daylight. They wouldn't be able to use their senses to the fullest." Miya gives me a surprising look. She is behaving strangly. Besides. She is only here to supervise me so why would she question my actions? Suddenly there is a smell. A demon is close. I follow the smell towards the regular killers' chambers. Someone is hiding in here. As I open the door I see him. He didn't mind hiding his appearance. His purely white skin gave him away. How laughable. I can sense that this one is almost done for already. He was probably a spy from the demon king who hid his presence for days during the daylight. This way he ran out of stamina. As he sees both of us, he seems shocked and tries to escape but I grab him by the neck and make him face me. "Where are you going so suddenly? Don't you wanna talk? I will let you go if you answer my questions." He stops his movements and listens to me while constantly glaring at Miya. "What do you demons want here? Where is the demon king? How many of you are inside the barrier?" He seems scared as I speak out. "We want to talk to Evia Hakai, I don't know how many we are. I was sent here first." He left out one question. This is probably on purpose. If he states it, he will die. But if he doesn't, he will die as well. Not my problem though. The realization hits me this instant. Could it be? I smirk as I let the shivering creature go and make my way to the castle. Miya is confused: "Why are you going back? Giving up already?" I answer: "I am going back because I know the answer." As we enter the throne hall we greet master as she raises an eyebrow. I state: "Master, the demon king is inside the barrier." Silence. "Then, how do you know that and where is he?" Evia asks rather sarcastically. I simply take Keria and attack sideways. Miya doesn't dodge. A smirk appears on her face as she or rather he transforms himself into a man with long black hair and red eyes. "Not bad." He sais while looking me right into the eyes. It makes me freeze. So beautiful yet so terrifying. Evia's eyes widen as she witnesses the scene. The demon King chuckles. "Good afternoon sister." The albino gets up from her throne. So she is his sister? Doesn't that mean she is a demon as well? But why is she always in this castle if she is capable of more? I hear her voice. "Great job Roxanne. You are now officially an advanced killer." The siblings fade all of a sudden and I am left alone in the castle. They seem to have something to talk about. What's more, I'd like to know where the real Miya is right now.
