"Elhain. Do you want me to restore your brother's arm?" The blonde nods forcefully. "Then you simply need something of similar value." Elhain is confused. Does Roxy want her to cut off someone's arm? Something appears behind her sister. The trio holds their breath. It's a mountain of corpses or at least what looks like corpses. "You are free to choose." Her sister gives her a toxic smile. Elhain starts shaking. Kain approaches her. "It's fine. They are corpses." A jawn interrups him. "Sorry to bring it to you guys, but do you know what happens to a corpse with a missing arm? In their next life, they will live without it." Now, this is the clue behind this game. It's Elhain's decision whether her brother or this corpse will lose their arm. So cruel. Ray raises his voice. "What are you waiting for, sister? We don't even know thesepeoplel, so why do you care?" Elhain is shocked at this statement. "How can you say such things? We're deciding on the fate of an innocent in order to save ourselves so egoistically. If someone loses their arm, it should be one of us!" With that being sai, Elhain bravely takes the dagger and tries to stab her arm when being stopped by her sister. "Sorry darling. You're the least person who should suffer like this. Suzy... do us a favor." The kitten bites off Ray's other arm. "This is the punishment for deciding wrongly. You guys lost again. Let's keep playing." The screams of her brother almost rip apart her ears as Elhain holds onto her fiancee. "Right, Kain. You were a little passive during this round. Sorry for that, the next round will be more interesting." Without any questions and answers, Roxanne proceeds her bloody game.
I should slowly start introducing the real challenges. The warm-up was pretty decent already. I was originally going to kill the leader. Now that I know his weakness, I can have some fun with him. "Any weapon and ability you like. You can pick it. I promise not to use mine instead. If you manage to land a hit on me, I'll let all of you go." Kain steps forward as two swords appear in his hand. I smile. He understands quickly. Without hesitation, he tries to attack. I keep dodging for about ten minutes. "Time is almost up." Kain keeps trying, but I keep up the defense until I feel an attack from behind. I turn around and grab Ray as a shield before seeing him slashed by the two swords. "Tz... now, this was a useless life." Elhain runs over, trying to save that brat but is only left with her tears. "Time." Kain's weapons disappear. "This happens if you get too greedy. Actually, it's quite satisfying. It would be a waste to kill that kid myself." My sister glares at me. "You're a monster!" I smirk. "Wrong. I am a demon. I rule over monsters." Kain comes at me. "When do your silly games stop?" Still stupid... "When one of you wins a game. The next one will be easy, tho. You get to decide. What would you rather do?" I tell Elhain to get on her feet. "I'll let both of you go if you tell me everything about the revolutionary army, I want to know. Including strategy and secrets. Or I'll let one of you go just like that. The other one will accompany these corpses." Both of them seem to keep their mouths shut. "That's unexpectedely honorable of you." I walk around them in circles like a lion inspecting it's prey. Then I stop behind Kain and whisper : "Who do you think is the real traitor here?" He shakes his head. "No idea." I come even closer. "Elhain knew who I was from the very beginning. She has seen my mark many times." Kain freezes and takes a look at the golden eyed who doesn't understand what's going on. Suddenly, Kain grabs her neck and chokes her. She tries to escape with tears flowing down but fails miserably. This keeps on until her eyes lose shine, and she stops breathing. Kain was halucinating. He thought she was going to attack when, in reality, she just wanted to protect him. I sigh. What a tragic love story. "Back... While you were entertaining me, something might have happened." Just as in trance, the leader heads back. I look at my sister's corpse. "I really wanted to save you. It's a pity that you couldn't love my true self."
