Goodbye Kallistine

Now that I understand how this world actually functions,  I really feel like a goddess. It's almost annoying how easily people can be controlled. Where is the challenge? So boring. My only pleasure is literally when I'm with him. That's a sign. He will be taken from me as well. Soon, I'll be left with nothing but this damn promise I made to the real owner of this world. This era is going to end. We get along simply because we are the same. That is why I choose to trust her.

"Where have you been your majesty?" One of my servants asks. All of them have acknowledged me as their new queen. They even congratulated me. It almost feels like I actually have a supportive family. I answer straightforwardly: "I paid my last respect to a friend." The servant watches me with curiosity as I take off my clothes and step into the water. As Dorian's right hand, I was already treated with so much privilege and honor, but now it's like a ten times upgrade. Thirty people could fit in this hot springs area. Now I need some time to think. I tell my servant to leave. "Like what you seeing?" The king of all demons steps out of the fog. I don't need to turn around to guess that he took off his clothes as well. "You sensed my presence and still got into the water? I'm impressed." He then steps into the water as well. "Good thing you told that servant to leave. She would have been bothersome." I chuckle. "Many women would die to just spend one night with you. You could have just taken her..." I feel his breath on my neck, still not turning around. "My standards have risen after seeing my bare queen. I guess no one could challenge you in terms of looks. Besides. I don't need anyone to die for me. I'll keep the one who'll live for me." His words are demanding. He is asking for my lifetime commitment and for my unconditional loyalty. I finally face him. His red eyes fix mine as his hands pull me closer to him, waiting for my answer before proceeding with the unholy. I give him a deep and passionate kiss in return. "Then you should never let me go." That was it. The distance between us disappeared as we satisfied our need for each other's bodies.

Miya wakes up inside the castle. Her wound is almost gone. She was really in need of some rest. As she sits up right, she sees maids preparing something and packing their things. The assasin stops one of them. "What's going on? Where is Evia?" The girl is quick to reply: "Her Highness ordered us to pack only the most important stuff. We're going to leave Kallistine City. She is currently awaiting you in front of the cherry blossom trees, my lady." Within seconds, Miya gets dressed up and rushes out of the castle.
Evia was simply standing there in front of the cherry blossom tree. Her friend would always keep flowers around. Especially the pink ones. So it was in order to calm her demonic spirit. It looks quite pretty, maybe that's why. Speak of the devil. She sees the short haired walking towards the albino rapidly. So she already knows. "What do you think you're doing? We can't just leave this place. It's our home. It has been the only place we belonged to for centuries!" Evia tried hard to stay neutral. "Well, nothing lasts forever, right? Unfortunately, the barrier has vanished, and the revolutionary army knows of this place. We need to get rid of it for the sake of our people and of our pride." Miya seems still mad, but she knows her friend is right. After a while, she speaks up. "When and where will we be leaving?" The albino answers bluntly: "We'll join forces with the underworld and after this war... we can go wherever we want. We'll leave in the whee hours." Miya turns around without saying a word. Once the night was about to fade, the two of them stood in front of Kallistine. Evia is hesitating. The short haired notices and sets the city on fire before the white one can change her mind. A tear is running down Evia's face, but she keeps quiet as she leads her people down the pathway. Her whole identity is now gone. She has no control anymore. But she has nothing to fear either. After all, she is a leader.
