The fragile girl was walking through town. She was here because she had nowhere else to go. Ever since she got kicked out of Kallistine, she was a nobody. No one needed her. She found a pathetic job as an aide at a factory and could barely live from the money. She was waiting for her opportunity to shine. She knows it. One day, the demon lady is going to forgive her and come back for her. Until that happens. She will stay put. As the girl keeps walking, she overhears some conversations. "Did you know? Some creatures have robbed and raided villages. Lately, women and children are scared to leave their houses. They look like humans, but they aren't. It is said that they came directly from hell." Did assasins attack again? Or even demons? "These monsters have suddenly decided to kill randomly. It is said that they are not even gaining anything. They are killing for the pure purpose of being a bitch." The girl chuckles. There must be something interesting happening soon.
Dorian walks through the mountain of corpses his underlings have left. This is almost a race. Whoever gets to the villages first can play with them. He sighs. He prefers taking his time with his hobbies but whatever. Suddenly something grabs his foot. It is a little child. "Please...Sir help me." Seems like his underlings didn't clean up very well. Dorian goes down and faces the child. The child shivers when seeing the threatening ruby red eyes. The demon lord smiles. "Little one, do you know what the worst pain in the world is?
Maybe a broken heart or losing someone you love?" The child shakes it's head in confusion. "It is desperation. Formed by fear, it is the worst kind of torture for every living being. No matter if you're a demon or not." He then proceeds to tell the child how he would make it suffer in unbearable pain until the little one runs off while screaming. "Yes, that's the kind of pain I enjoy watching." Dorian whispers. The child is stopped by a pack of wolves. Or rather wolve like creatures. They are obviously demons. However it's rare for them to appear during the day time. What's this about? The child takes a few steps back and cries out one last time before being attacked and killed by the creatures. Dorian proceeds to create theories. Someone has woken up the animal demons. Someone who wants this war to escalate quickly. And someone who is probably not very far away. The red eyed closes his eyes for a second before grinning knowingly. "You were hiding for a heck of a long time, sweetheart." He then turns around and slashes his claws into thin air while seeing the white haired female dodge and taking a step back. She had an incredibly daring smile on her face. "It almost sounds like you missed me, my lord." Dorian steps closer, grabs her waist, and keeps his eyes slightly opened while both of their lips lock passionately. The female laughs. "You've gotten quite bold." She doesn't even try to hide her slightly blushing while he touches her scar with his claws. "Your appearance has changed, but your mouth stays dirty. So tell me darling, while we don't have much time left wouldn't you like me to take you dancing? Just like back then. Or maybe a little different." The female gives the only right answer: "I'd dance with you, for you and on top of you, if that's what you desire." Just like that. No more words were needed as the two most powerful demons disappeared from that village.
Kain orders to stand still. Something seems off. It seemed too smooth to be true. They were not encountering any guard, and the barrier seemed to have disappeared. As if they were expecting an attack. But why would they be so inviting to even let the famous barrier down that has lasted for almost two centuries? Is it a trap?
Almost as if in response, they hear cracking noises from around the bushes. "Everyone, stay on guard!" He shouts. But it seemed almost alarming how smooth and slow they showed themselves. While drawing their weapons, Kain realizes two things. Number 1: They indeed have fallen into Blast's trap, and number 2: Hundreds of demons are currently surrounding the soldiers. There is only one way to get out of this. They need to overpower them. They need to fight. "Everyone. I want you to fight and survive until each one of them is dead!" He screams as the bloody mess starts to unravel.
