It's cold and lonely in here. There is no escape. I either accept it or go crazy. The outcome is the same. I am so looking forward to feeling alive again. Feeling pain. My best friend. It has never betrayed me. Even if it's for eternity. Cause I gave up on my happy ever after. For no reason. I guess I was just bored. And I'm tired of hiding my intentions.
Miya opens the grand gate and enters. She never liked the underworld. Here, her status as the demon princess's right hand is meaningless. And if that's the case, it means survival of the fittest. These days that is not really a problem for her however in the past as a child or whatever she constantly had to fear for her life. It wasn't until a few decades ago that she made herself a name that was well respected amongst humans and demons equally. She bows slightly as she faces the majestetic throne in front of her. "Greetings, your majesty." The demon lord nods and tells the assasin to get comfortable. "Why have you asked for my presence?" Dorian responds: "It's about Roxanne." Miya doesn't flinch even though the name catches her attention. Rumors had it, that Roxy died a year ago or so. After all, the demon king's feared right hand disappeared without a trace. Miya knows that's bullshit. Roxanne doesn't do something like that without purpose. His majesty continues: "I know, that you know that she is alive. And that is exactly what I've been wondering about. She longed for my support in order to take down my sister for your sake however once I freed her, she left. Not that it's surprising but recently newspapers and apparent witnesses have created interesting statements. Have you heard of it?" The supreme killer nods once again but this time slower. A demon lady with white hair was terrorising villages alongside the westcoast. What's interesting about that is, that she always leaves one victim alive. Seemingly on purpose. This is in order to tell the story. What's weird is, that she would only attack villages close to the revolutionary army but never others or the army itself. It's almost as if the demon simply wants to provoke and raise awareness. Because of her habit of torturing her victims with fire she was titled the "red blade." At first Miya thought it was coincidence but then she realized that there are no coincidences in this world. There is only one explanation for the appearance of this demon a year after Roxanne left. And this explanation will hold power over all of the living creatures in the world. Dorian watches Miya as she thinks. "I want to ask you for a favor." The short haired listens up. "Execute your plan as soon as the sun rises."
Elhain was angered. The description of the woman on the poster fits her brother's villainess to a certain extent. However it doesn't seem like they are the same person. Are they a couple of assasins? What is their goal? The red blade was definitly plotting against the revolutionary army. But why won't they attack if they already know the location? At the current, Elhain and the others are weakened because of the surprise attacks in the past. There wouldn't be a better point of time for them. "Sister." Her brother calls her. Ever since that incidant, Ray had matured a lot. He is 18 now. "I keep thinking about what you told me in the past. You said you met Roxanne?" The blonde haired nods. Ray was the son of one of her father's many concubines. Thank goodness. If it were for her stepmother Sierra, he might have had trouble growing up. Of course she cared for Roxy but she couldn't deny that her sister had changed a lot. At the residence she already seemed to become more and more like an ice statue and when she met her last time she seemed like a completely different person. Her attitude seemed to tell Elhain, that she was done with her past. It's frightening how people can change. Her brother keeps asking questions. "Then why didn't she come with you? And how come she was there at a so perfect time and you were coincidently the only person left alive?" Elhain stands up and slaps him. "How could you suspect your own sister? After all the years you had laughed at her, did she ever fight back?" Her brother faces her again, wiping his cheek. "You know she is different. And the woman who stole my arm reminded me of of that black haired freak. You can't deny the facts." Elhain turns around and leaves without a word. Deep inside she knows her brother is right but she wants to believe in her sister. She wants to believe that Roxanne will stand on the good side once this bloody war begins.
It's funny that these people think so highly of me. Don't they get it? I know what they are up to. I know it even before they realize it themselves. I know how this war will end. And I know that many people will end up regretting their decision. I don't care. I never did. If you can't save all, it's no use saving one. You just end up with that "whatever" mindset in the end. You will end up living only for the game and for killing your boredom. It has always been like this and it will always be like this. The secret I carry with me. Maybe one or two of them have already figured it out? Certainly not my naive sister nor the pitifull assasin's princess. Maybe the red eyed did? Or even Carrington? Regardless. I want to lose control every once in a while. I need it in order to not lose motivation for this cursed life. I guess it's really true what they say. If you don't sacrifice for what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice.
