Dear Jesus,

Tonight, Lord, you've blown my mind away at your amazing wonders again. It's sometimes all so overwhelming that you have chosen to reveal these things to this suckling babe called Radiance.

At this point, I'm slowly beginning to realize that there are probably a gazillion new dimensions of your power and person that we humans haven't even scraped the surface of.

My hand is still shaking as I write this.

Propelled by the urgency of the call, Portia and I half-ran, half-trotted to Diamond Suites, which was Shelly's hostel.

I called Kathy on the way and caught up with her just as she was about to enter her hostel. We went to her room. Helen, Kathy's roommate, wasn't in, so I was able to explain what was going on in full detail.

I was in a fix because, first of all, I wasn't a hundred per cent sure that Shelly was in her room.
I mean, if she was in the hostel, her roommate or any other person nearby would have seen her state and helped her out. Plus, I didn't know her room number. I had been too busy to visit her at any time. Now I know what a lame excuse that is. Sigh.

I tried Shelly's number over and over again but it still wasn't going through. I just kept praying under my breath as Kathy, Portia and I paced around the room, trying to figure out how to find her.

"Mercy, mercy, mercy, Lord Jesus," I kept repeating.
The way Shelly had sounded over the phone was like she didn't have long, and I was scared for her safety.
And besides, why did her phone suddenly become unreachable?

Then, it clicked in my spirit. Why hadn't I used my seer gift to navigate and easily find Shelly?

I was momentarily annoyed at myself for having forgotten. I remembered that this was a battle. Of course, the enemy would try to becloud my mind with unnecessary worries and panic.

I told Kathy and Portia to intensify their spirit prayers and that they should also alert the others in the Holy Priesthood group to do the same. The battle had already started and it wasn't going to be a funny one.

Kathy began to type a spiritual SOS message on the group, agreeing with me that she was strongly sensing the same thing.

I closed my eyes, where I sat shaking my knees, speaking in tongues in my spirit.
I saw my cross seals emitting a golden glow against an inky black background.
When I opened my eyes again, the panorama was multifaceted, the spiritual scenery taking more prominence.

The walls became transparent, and outside, I saw malevolent spiritual beings, with no definite form except darkness, writhing in their hosts and wreaking havoc on unsuspecting minds as usual.

I tore my eyes away from the numbing scene and looked down at my body because I could feel power coursing through my spiritual skin.

I was wearing my armour which was emitting a blinding luminance. A glance at Kathy and Portia revealed that they were also building theirs up as they prayed in their spirits.

Realising, much to my dismay, that time was running out fast and that Shelly's life still was in grave danger, I saw Gloria beckoning for me to follow her.

I battled an initial wave of confusion and doubt. My flesh was like, shouldn't we at least try to search her hostel first? I mean that was the most likely place for her to be at this time of the day.

But then, I knew I had to take a step of absolute trust in your omniscience. And if this was the start of the battle, I mustn't rely on logic or my wit, but rather on the wisdom of God.

I followed Gloria, whose golden ambience illuminated the way also, and sliced through the thick darkness of roaming demons.
My friends followed me, asking questions as to where we were going. I told them we were following God's lead and would go save Shelly, whatever the gravity of the problem she was caught up in might be.
