Dear Jesus,

Holidays! Yay!

I know it's just a three-week break, but I intend to maximize this time of liberty to the fullest.

Mom has been smothering me with love and care ever since I returned home, ever since I told them all that happened.

We had a dedicated family time for us all to tell our stories of the times we weren't together.
When I told them of my kidnap and the other aggravating events that happened during my first semester in McCheynne, my mom got so emotional and teary-eyed. Now, it's like she's even more protective of me than before.

In unison, I and my parents thanked you for the battles we faced, for they made us stronger and for the victories you gave, for they made us see your power.

So far, based on what my parents told me, the church is marching on and growing steadily. More signs and wonders and more converts into the Kingdom. I was pleased with the reports.

Dad's been on more mission trips.
Mom is considering breaking off from the private school she's teaching at and staying solo as a private music tutor. More ministerial duties have been demanding her attention.

I came back to Mangrone Strait with my friends who live here too in the most fascinating of ways.

When she got the inkling that her two granddaughters were coming home for the holidays, Grandma was so happy that she made us promise to come over and spend some time with her at the mansion.

According to her, she was getting bored from the loneliness ever since Grandpa had died and that she'd love for us to come to visit her to fill the void while they prepared for the final burial ceremony.

While we both were still considering the offer, wondering how we would be able to convince our parents to allow us, she asked, "What will make you say yes?"

Portia had jokingly replied that we would only consent to come if we could travel back home on a plane in the first class compartment with all our other buddies and if she could allow our other girlfriends to accompany us to the mansion.

Unknown to us, Grandma took her seriously.
The next day, which was when we were to leave for home, instead of our parents coming to pick us up in their cars, we met two beautiful female chaperones-verified by a phone call from our Grandma-who led us to the airport, straight into a private jet with all the awesome luxury features one could ask for!

It was super amazing! John was the only male species, apart from the pilot who we didn't even see, of this travelling crew. And though it was awkward for him, I could tell that he also enjoyed the ride. His wound was almost all healed up, so he was pretty much his cute self as usual.

Mike had to stay in Flemming to settle things with his uncle's family. The burial rites and all that. They'd somehow found him dead on a lone road, and Mike had to be there to comfort the grieving family.
He would announce to them that he'd want to be independent of them from henceforth.

Mike promised to accept John's invitation to visit Mangrone Strait and spend some time with him. I wonder when he'll come.

I think he, John, Frederick, Luke and Nathan are planning a guys' hangout of sorts.
I think they're just jealous of the girls' holiday plans which we didn't cease to talk about 24/7 on the Holy Priesthood chat group, much to their chagrin.

This week, I and the girls had a blast over at my grandma's.

It was the entire Jesus-girls team: I, Kathlyn and her sister, Faith, Priscilla, Portia, Felicia and her baby, Hope and her sister, Patricia, and also Grace.
Genevie and Hirena weren't available, of course, but we had exciting moments of online video calls with them.
