I take a moment to analyze the possible options. Someone is out there. Doing what, I don't know. There could be some sort of mass killing going on or just a bunch of armed robbers taking people captive. The banging on my door stopped shortly after the first few times. The fact that the banging ended so quickly made fear and panic strike through my mind. The screaming, however, continued on and on. Some were louder than the others. The louder they were, the more terrified and panicked they sounded. I glance over to the door nervously. What are the chances I'd get caught by whoever is out there? If it's a 'buddy' of Toby's, it's definitely a killer, right? Of course. Both of my options could end up in death. Toby could kill me if he wanted to. He could've set this up for all I know. I sudden thump against my door made me jump back into Toby as blood curdling screams erupted from behind the door. Shrieks of pure terror as they slowly died down into gagging and other odd noises I couldn't even make out. I felt Toby gently drape his arms over my shoulders, resting his chin on one of them. "You'll end up like that if you don't decide soon." His muffled voice stated calmly in my ear as I shivered from the thought of what had happened out there. I inhale sharply, swatting his arms away from me. People are in danger, but I can't help anyone. It's either them or me. "Take me with you." I state firmly, turning my body towards Toby. The corners of his mouthguard lift up a little. Without any sort of warning, he wraps me into an unnatural and uncomfortable tight hug. "Good choice." His rough, yet soft voice whispers into my ear. Before I get any time to react, I feel a sharp blow to my head, making my vision darken. My skull starts pounding with intense pain as the environment around me turns colder and darker. My breathing accelerates and turns ragged as I try to push myself up with weak, trembling arms. Something heavy pushes my back harshly onto the floor, causing the air to suddenly leave my lungs. I try to breathe in, finding it difficult to do so since something was keeping my chest pressed firmly onto the cold, marble floor. I moan in pain, it's all I can do. I slightly lift my head up, only to see Toby knelt down in front of me to make eye contact with me behind those orange goggles of his. The handle of his hatchet is tightly gripped in one of his gloved hands. I could see fresh blood on the end of the handle. "See you soon, doll."
I don't remember what happened after that.
Everything became a blur.

My head was pounding, my throat felt sore and my mouth was dry as it could be. I barely remember what happened. Hell, I don't even know where I am. It's pitch black, and I can't tell if my eyes are open or not. Even if I do force myself to open them, it's still dark as ever. My arms feel tired. They feel weak. I try to move my arms over to my lap, only to realize that they were being held back by something. I start to panic, trying to helplessly force my arms to come loose from whatever were holding them back. The more I moved them, the louder I heard the sound of chains rattling. Am I chained up?! The sounds give it away, but I'm not too sure. I try to kick my legs for a change. God, I can't even move them! My ankles feel like they are firmly pressed together, refraining me from any sort of movement. The panic and stress is just giving my head even more of a headache. I need to stop, relax and try to collect myself. There is no need to panic. Not yet, at least. All I know is that I'm in a pitch black and cold room, chained up to the wall and unable to move myself too much. I felt like crying. I wanted to bawl my eyes out, but I knew that won't help anything. I've been through so much already, I should be able to handle this. I take in deep breaths, blinking my tears away. Be strong and don't show any fear.
The sudden creaking of a door opening was enough to just make my heart accelerate. Stay calm. Stay calm. I have to keep repeating these words over and over. Soft light emits from the small crack of the door before it opens up completely, temporarily blinding me. I squeeze my eyes shut for a couple of moments as I hear footsteps walking down a pair of steps. I blink a couple of times to readjust my vision to the light before taking in my surroundings as descriptive as I could. Multiple empty and old looking bookshelves that were filled to the brim with dust and cobwebs. When were those last cleaned? A more careful look around made me realize that I was most likely inside of a basement. I turn my head to the side, meeting with something that would be burned into my memory forever. Next to me sat a pale redhead woman. She was completely nude, her soft skin tattered with dried blood around her chest area and arms, which only made me notice that her chest had a huge gash running along it. From her neck, all the way down to her stomach. I could almost see one of her organs drooping from the gash. The need to vomit was building up. I had to stop myself from letting out a terrified scream. I shut my eyes tightly and purse my lips to prevent anything to come out of my stomach. "Sheesh, you sleep l-long, don't cha?"
