"Will Whiskers be okay?"
Now that I'm on the brink of leaving to find Masky, I start worrying about the cat. I don't want us to be out for too long for Whiskers' sake. Liu smiles as he wrapped his scarf around his neck. "He stayed home alone before, don't worry." He states. "Oh." I respond not completely convinced. Well, still, this won't take too long. "Come on, let's head on." Liu nods his head towards the door. I zip up the last part of my jacket before nodding. It's freezing outside, most likely under 0 degrees. Liu opened up the door stepping outside whilst holding the door open with his arm, waiting for me to step out. I take a quick glance over my shoulder, seeing Whiskers calmly roam around the living room with nothing to do. He'll be fine. "Bye-bye, Whiskers." I bid my goodbye at the feline for no reason before stepping outside into the cold weather. Liu shuts the door behind him after I step out and heads over to the small garage that's located right next to the actual cabin. He bends down, grabbing the handle of the garage door before lifting it up to reveal his motorcycle inside. It's a decent looking motorcycle, to say the least. He heads into the garage and grabs one of the two helmets that's hanging from the motorcycle's handle and slips it on. He then proceeds to grab the second helmet and hand it over to me. "Hope it's not too big." He says. I eye the helmet for a quick second before placing it over my head. As expected, it hung a little loose, but not enough for it to be something to worry about. "It's all good." I state. Liu hums and starts up the engine, giving the handle a few turns to make the engine roar. He swings a leg over his seat and pats the spot behind him.
I take this as my cue to sit down and proceed to do so. I've never really been on a motorcycle ride before, so it's all pretty new to me. With just a bit of difficulty, I take a seat behind Liu. Liu kicks the motorcycle stand from the hind wheel, allowing the vehicle's wheels to be placed on the ground. "Hang on as tight as you can, okay?" I hear Liu's muffled voice over the sound of the engine. Even though he can't see it, I nod my head and wrap my arms around his waist. Once he realizes I'm set, he gives the handle a few more turns before the motorcycle carefully makes its way out of the garage. Now to get out of this forest and onto the highway.

"Emily, have you seen my phone?"
Emily almost jumps at the sound of my voice and lifts her head up. She probably didn't hear me come into the waiting room. Once she seems to process my question, she shakes her head. "Did you check your car?" She questions. I shake my head. "No, but that's my second guess on where my phone could be. I'll be right back." I state. I walk my way over to the exit and push the doors open. My car is parked right in front of the entrance, so that's pretty efficient. Unlocking my car with my keys, I pull open the door to the drivers seat. It should be around here, somewhere. Poking my head in, I quickly scan along the seats and the floor. Nothing. I crawl in and take a look at the passengers seat on the back, only to find nothing once more. I purse my lips. Where the hell is my phone? I swear I had it a few seconds ago. I look into the small gap besides the drivers seat and spot a small rectangular shape. Ah, there it is! I was about to blame Tim for causing my phone to disappear. Guess that won't be needed. I grab my phone and crawl back out of the car, slamming the door shut and locking it afterwards. All I have to do now is show the proof.

It's freezing. And with the motorcycle going 50 miles per hour wasn't helping me warming up. Even with some gloves, my hands were freezing up. From what I understood from Liu, there is only one place Masky would go to and it's the forest near my neighborhood. It kind of makes sense, since that's the place where bodies were found. I shudder at the thought and bury myself deeper into my jacket. I was pretty scared by how fast we were going, but that's how you get to your destination way faster. I just had to put my trust in Liu.
