Sucking in a deep breath, I hastily bring my fist up to the door and lightly tap it with my knuckles. There's no need to feel nervous. Why am I shaking like this? I breathe out slowly, waiting for the door to open up. It took so long for him to open the door that I was starting to think he wasn't home. I felt relief wash over me once the door actually opened up, but very slowly. Through the small creek of the door he had opened, I saw his eye peeking through to look at me. I could smell all the illegal scents from inside of his house. Can he go a day without smoking that crap? "Whaddya' want?" His voice jeered. I sigh. It's like every time I go here he doesn't recognize me. Not with all the smoking he has been doing... "Logan, can I stay over at your place?" I go straight in for the question, not bothering to sugar coat it. His eye narrowed before he spat, "are you a cop?" I shake my head. "No, I'm (Y/n)." I state the obvious. Logan pauses before fully opening the door, revealing the inside of his home filled with visible grey smoke. Disgusting. "You still haven't returned my gun. You know the shit my dad gave me for it?" His lips held a lit joint tightly in its place. "Yeah, yeah, sorry. I'll do that later. Can I just stay at your place for a bit?" I subtly beg. Logan's eyes scan my entire figure before scoffing. He took the stick from his lips, puffing out a long cloud of smoke. "You still owe me a night with you." He simply states. I internally panic. Not now, not in the situation I'm in! As I was about to come up with an excuse, he shrugged his shoulders and stepped inside. "Whatever. I got another bitch on my couch, anyway." this was his way to invite me into his home, apparently. I smile to myself out of relief. I walk my way into his house, coughing along the way as I wave a hand in front of my face. The whole room reeks of weed. I glance over to the couch located in the living room. I was expecting a female like he said, yes, but I was not expecting a half naked female laying on the couch. Everything besides her crotch area was bare, meaning her chest was out for everyone to see. She didn't even mind me looking at her as she just grinned at me and waved. "Hey, sweetie, wanna join in?" She offered in an oddly kind way, sitting up straight on the couch and patting the spot besides her. A bit flustered, I shake my head. "N-No, thanks." I stammer as Logan shuts the door and takes a seat next to the female. He passes his stick over to the female, allowing her to take a long drag from it before letting out a cloud of smoke, only adding up to the cloudiness factor inside of this house. "Suit yourself," she smiles at me before handing Logan the joint back.

I decide to leave those two alone and head up the stairs. Just walking up here gave me flashbacks of that damned party. The party I should've never had gone to. I manage to find Logan's room and push the door open, shutting it behind me. The air was a lot cleaner in here, mainly because his window was wide open. I take deep, relaxed breaths of the clean air as I suddenly hear an odd noise coming from underneath the bed. It sounded like a mouse or something. I carefully walk over to the bed and duck down, looking underneath it. I meet with a pair of glowing eyes, only to realize that it was Logan's cat. The one I coincidentally couldn't find back at the party. I stick my hand out, doing the usual noise people make to attract cats. The cat didn't leave from under the dark bed, but I felt its snout lightly rub over my fingers before feeling its tongue run along them. I smile a bit, pulling my hand back from out of the bed as the cat follows after it. The cat was covered in clean, white fur and had matching blue eyes to go along with it. It wasn't a fairly young cat, but also not too old. If I remember correctly, I recall Logan calling the cat a 'she'. I don't remember what her name was, but I do remember that it was something very cliché among white cats. "How you've been holding up with that crazy owner of yours?" I jokingly ask as the cat rubs its body along my arms and hands. I don't think she gets much affection around here. I scratch the top of her head before standing up and further inspecting the room before I made myself comfortable. I didn't go through any drawers or anything, I was taking in the surroundings. I noticed a faint stain on the carpeted floor, which I remembered it to be a blood stain. The blood that once belonged to my ex-boyfriend. The blood that was spilled because of a certain masked bastard. Just thinking about it made me agitated. I sigh, plopping down on Logan's surprisingly clean bed as I feel the white cat jump onto the mattress as well. I'm exhausted. I just couldn't sleep at my apartment. This feeling in my gut just wouldn't allow me to stay there. My only option was to come here. And, well, it's better than nothing. I shut my eyes and steady my breathing.
