Masky knocks on the door he was standing in front of, taking a step back while awaiting for an answer. The door opened up, revealing a rather grumpy elf at the door. "What?" BEN asked, looking up at Masky with furrowed brows. Masky tossed the broken phone at BEN, forcing him to catch it. BEN fumbled with the phone in his hands before getting an actual tight grip on it. BEN took a quick look at the phone before looking back at Masky. "What's this for?" He asks, eyeing the phone suspiciously. "I need it fixed. Get it done as soon as possible." Masky states. BEN arches a brow. "Is this your phone?" He questions. "Yeah. Just fix it." Masky huffs impatiently. BEN purses his lips. "Sure, whatever. Give me a couple of hours." BEN says as he starts to shut his own door. Before he could completely shut it, Masky stuck a foot in the small gap that was left open by the door, preventing it from closing. "I want it done before 11." Masky states firmly. "Yeah, yeah. Let me close my door, you ass." BEN hisses, kicking at Masky's foot. Masky removes his foot from the gap, allowing the door to close completely. Now he just had to wait.

I lightly tapped my feet on the ground as I looked outside through the big display window. I had a hot coffee cup in my hands, warming up my cold palms. I've been waiting here for ten minutes now. It's 11:10, and Tim still isn't here. The back of my mind just told me that he most likely ran off with my phone. But for the most part I tried to stay positive. Maybe he's just running late. I stir the coffee with the small spoon they gave me, resting my head on one of my hands. If he doesn't get here in 10 more minutes, I'm just going to assume that he ran off with my phone. I took a sip from my coffee. It felt nice drinking something warm inside whilst its freezing outside. After five minutes or so, I had already finished my coffee. Tim still wasn't anywhere in sight. I sigh, pushing my empty cup away before standing up. Sticking a hand in one of my pockets, I fish out some money and place it on the table. I don't know how much longer I can wait around. I shove my chair back under the table and said my goodbye to the cashier before making my way towards the door. Just before I could place my hand on the handle, the door suddenly swung open, forcing me to take a couple steps back. The bell above the door tinkled as always as a heavily breathing Tim burst in. He caught the attention of the workers and of the other people that were just minding their own business. I was still flabbergasted from his sudden entrance. His hair was completely covered with small snowflakes, making it seem as if his hair had sparkles in it. Tim took a moment to regain his breath before pulling something out of his pocket. "Sorry I'm late," Tim breathed out tiredly, handing me what looked like a brand new phone.

I cautiously took the phone into my hands. It looked brand new. I couldn't help but grin brightly. A total stranger- well, he's not a complete stranger anymore- helped me fix my broken phone. I gave it a test run and opened it up to the home screen. Everything was still as it was. Tim let out an exhausted sigh, ruffling his own hair to get rid of all the snow in it. "My friend took a bit longer than expected. I hope I didn't leave you waiting for long." Tim said. I look up at him with a thankful smile. "Thank you so much! I-..." I'm honestly in a loss for words. Such an act of kindness is definitely needed more in this world. "Is there any way I can repay you?" I ask all giddy, holding my phone tightly in both hands. Tim chuckles and rubs the back of his neck. "Uh, well..." Tim clears his throat and looks to the side. His cheeks dusted a soft red as he lets out a nervous chuckle. "I put my number on your phone. Just in case you'd want to go out sometime?" He asks almost timidly, his voice trailing off to a soft tune as he finishes his sentence. I can't help but giggle a bit. Never have I seen someone being so shy to ask me out. I don't know if I'm ready to move on, I still need to get my head cleared up from the incident. But man, I don't have the heart to tell him off after what he has done. "Of course. I'd love to." I laugh lightly. Tim brightens up a bit, looking a tad more confident than a few seconds ago. "Great! I'll text you someday, okay?" He smiles. "Sure, I'll look forward to it!" With that, I wave him goodbye and exit the cafe.
