I don't know whether I should ask where Liu is or not. I obviously accepted Masky's offer to watch TV, and the first thing I noticed was that Liu suddenly disappeared. I'm afraid to ask. I'm sure Masky doesn't like me talking about Liu. I'm currently sitting on the couch, my hands nervously fidgeting the entire time ever since I came from upstairs. Honestly, I still can't believe he did what he did. It feels unreal, yet it really did happen. Whiskers decided to stay upstairs on our bed to rest up, leaving me alone with Masky. Yikes. I glance over to Masky from the corner of my eye. He's less frightening without the mask, honestly. I look back at the TV with pursed lips. Should I just ask? I'm not that much of a patience person, and considering what happened a couple of minutes ago I probably shouldn't ask. But damn it, I need to know. "Hey, Tim?" I curl my hands into fists to prevent myself from getting overly nervous. It just became a bad habit to be scared of everything when I'm near Masky. Masky made a questioning sound, keeping his eyes pinned on the screen of the TV. "Where'd Liu go?" I ask whilst trying my best not to stutter or choke on my words. Masky hummed. "The mall. He'll be back in a few." He states. Ah, he went to the mall. I look down to my lap. I shouldn't be feeling disappointed or anything, yet I still am. I was really looking forward to finally go into civilization. "Don't look so sad, (Y/n)," Masky chirps, snaking an arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. My body tenses up as a reflex as Masky pecks me on the cheek. "I'll take you another day, alright?" He promises, lightly squeezing my side. Ha, I doubt that. I promptly let out a hum of agreement with just a hint of disappointment in it.

"What happened last night again?"
Hoodie snickered as he crossed his arms over his chest. He found it amusing how Toby fumed over not being able to capture a weak human girl. Toby scoffed, slamming his cup down onto the table, almost forming a crack in the porcelain cup. "Is-Is this funny to you?!" Toby barked, glaring daggers at the taller male. Hoodie grinned underneath the mask covering his face and shrugged his shoulders. "It might be. Please do tell me again how you let her escape." Hoodie's voice was in a teasing tone, only ticking off the twitching boy even more. "Fuck you, I've never had so-someone use pepper spray on me!" Toby retorted, slumping back in his chair. Hoodie held his hands up. "Ooh, pepper spray! Very effective against a killer with CIP." Hoodie shook his hands jokingly along with a snicker after his sentence. Toby let out an obnoxious groan, smacking his forehead on the table.
"There's no one in this ma-mansion I hate be-besides you."

With droopy eyes and a tired mind, I was subconsciously resting my head on Masky's shoulder. I don't know how long it has been since Liu left, I never really kept track of the time. I'm feeling too tired to check, anyways. My eyes slowly closed as my breathing steadied down even more than normal. Just as I'm about to drift into dream land, I hear the door from outside creak open. I open up my eyes and shift into an upright position, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I turn my head towards the door, just as I hear Whiskers rush downstairs. Ah, there's only one person Whiskers will rush to besides me. I turn my head towards the door, seeing Liu enter his home with multiple plastic bags dangling from his arms that were filled to the rim, almost spilling out the goods. I quickly stood up from my spot before Masky had a chance to stop me and rushed over to Liu to lend a hand. "H-Here, let me help." I nervously offered my help, extending my arms for him to give me a bag. He shortly flashed me a smile of gratitude, along with a quiet "thank you". I reply with a smile of my own before grabbing two bags into both of my hands. Liu shut the door with the heel of his foot. I made my way to the kitchen counter, completely oblivious to Masky's eyes following me. However, I do notice him quickly slip on his mask that he had left on the couch besides him. I place the bags on top of the counter and take a peek inside. That's a lot of things. "You bought a lot." I point out, taking multiple things out of the bag and placing them on the counter. Fruits, vegetables, snacks, drinks, it seemed like something someone would buy for a party. Liu let out a lighthearted laugh, placing the remaining bags next to the ones I placed on the counter.
