"Masky."
Tim snapped out of his thoughts, snapping his head towards the direction of Hoodie. He released a cloud of smoke from his lips before lifting a brow. "What?" He asked, flicking the cigarette away somewhere onto the ground. Hoodie nodded his head towards the distance, presumably pointing out the silhouette that was making its way closer from the depths of the woods. Masky pushed his mask back in front of his face, squinting his eyes to try and make out whoever was getting closer. It could be a potential trespasser. Hoodie shoved his hand in the pockets of his hoodie, gripping the handle of his firearm just in case he'd have to shoot a bullet into someone's hand. "Hold it," Masky hushed loud enough for Hoodie to hear. The figure came closer, close enough to be recognized by the two Proxies. "What the fuck is he doing here?" Hoodie glanced over to Masky who gave the same confused stare back. Liu stepped in front of the two Proxies, staring them down with furrowed brows. "Where's Jeff?" Liu asked. Neither of the two Proxies spoke up for a few seconds. "Are you dense? He hasn't been living here since..." Hoodie paused to think, "...years ago. He barely visits unless he needs a favor or whatever." Hoodie huffed. Liu scoffed, simply ignoring the frowning ski-mask in front of him before turning his attention over to Masky. "You probably know what's going on." Liu stated confidently. Masky crossed his arms over his chest. "I do." He firmly stated. Liu blinked, staring down Masky with a bitter glare. "Then why aren't you doing anything about it?!" Liu seethed. Masky shortly glanced over to Hoodie and shrugged. "Jeff doesn't have her. It's Toby." Masky stated out flatly, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Liu looked at him in disbelief. "If you know he's got her, then why the hell aren't you doing anything about it?!" Liu was becoming more agitated by the moment, raising his voice even louder. Masky did his best to remain calm, but Lord knows he has one of the shortest fuses there could be. "Don't you think I would've done something by now if I actually knew where she is?!" Masky snapped. "Besides," Masky relaxed himself, resting his back against the wall, "I can't go anywhere without him on my ass." Masky glanced over to Hoodie, rolling his eyes. Liu took a moment to process his words before realizing what was going on. "I see." Liu simply uttered out to mainly himself. "I'll go talk to him," he sneered, pushing past the two Proxies before entering the mansion.

I'd often sing. Not just because I had nothing better to do, but mainly because it was allowing me to keep my sanity alive. Yes, it would tire me out. Yes, it hurts my vocal chords. But what else can I do down here besides sleeping and thinking of my own death? Exactly. As I tried to sing myself to sleep, a sudden noise upstairs made my breath hitch. Last time Toby heard me sing he practically yelled at me to shut up before he'd do so himself. I felt like each day that went by, he'd be a lot more aggressive and paranoid. Maybe it's just me, though. The familiar set of heavy boots made their way down the stairs, allowing a bit of light to enter into the basement from the room above. To no surprise, I was greeted by my kidnapper. Or rather- my guardian. He's the one keeping me safe, after all. He told me multiple times before that he was only keeping me here for my own good. In other words, he was keeping me here for my safety. He brought me food more often than he used to, as long as I behaved and followed his 'rules'. He isn't that bad of a person, really. He just gets his mood swings often if I do or say something that displeases him. So I mostly keep my mouth shut unless he wants me to answer a question or just talk to him. Toby came walking down the steps, his face looked visibly agitated. Maybe it's about the entire Liu situation. I shiver a bit. He had told me a few days ago how Liu suddenly appeared at the mansion looking for me. All that ran through my mind was him wanting to end me just like he did to his girlfriend. Thank goodness I'm safe and sound here. "Toby?" I squeaked out meekly. Good timing that he's here, my stomach started rumbling only a few minutes ago. Toby lets out a tired sounding grunt as a response as he walked in front of me before dropping down to his knees, like he usually does. He ruffles his hand in his pocket before pulling out a delicious looking peach along with a bottle of water, which he brings with him everyday to give to me. He rolls the fruit close enough for me to grab it into my hands and places the water bottle next to my hips. As I started digging into the peach, Toby was unnaturally quiet. His arms were wrapped around his legs and his chin was resting on his knees all while he kept his gaze low. A bit unnerving, to say the least, considering he'd usually tell me disturbing stories everyday. "Are you okay?" I hesitantly asked, pausing from taking anymore bites of the sweet peach.
