I didn't sleep peacefully after that. Not at all, actually. However, I did get enough sleep to get through half of the day, maybe. With a soft groan escaping my lips, I stir in my spot. I was comfortably warm on top of something, but that something was certainly not the mattress of a bed. Fluttering my eyes open, I realize that I'm actually laying on top of a person. Better said, I'm laying on top of Masky. I'm frozen from the sudden shock. His face is so close to mine, I can practically feel his breath fanning my face. His hands were securely wrapped around my waist, as if making sure I wouldn't make a run for it while he was asleep. I can feel his chest slowly rising and descending beneath my body. Do I move? Do I not? Will he get angry if I wake him up? I try to wriggle out of his grip. At first, I'm actually succeeding in shifting away from him, but just before I could get off completely, his arms suddenly wrap tighter around me. Is he actually asleep? "Masky, uh..." I softly whisper, trying my best to not startle or anger him right in the morning. Masky mumbles something incoherent, lightly stirring in his spot. "It's Tim." He mutters softly. Right... He wants me to call him Tim. How can I call him someone he's not? Well, if it keeps me away from death... "Tim, we-... um, I need to get up." I state as I lightly press my palms against his chest, trying to push myself up. "Mm, for what? We can stay in bed longer, for a change. Besides, I like having you on top of me." Masky grins as he slowly opens his eyes. I look away from him with a slightly flustered face. Why does he have to say that? Masky chuckles at what I assume is my face before kissing the tip of my nose and unwrapping his arms from me. "Alright, maybe it is time to get up." Masky yawns, stretching his arms out. What day is it today, again? Ah, right, Sunday. I need to keep track of the date, somehow.

I rub the sleep out of my eyes before getting off of Masky. I can't lie, I was pretty comfortable sleeping on top of him. But still, it's not something to get used to. I get up onto my feet and stretch out my body to its desire. I still haven't heard Masky get out of the bed, so I turn around to see if he was still laying down. Not only was he sill in bed, but his eyes were focused on me, most likely the entire time. Masky realized I had caught him staring, but instead of just looking away like normal people usually do, he just gives me his signature grin. "You're beautiful, y'know?" He bluntly states. My cheeks heat up and I quickly force myself to turn my back on him. Masky snickers. I wasn't used to such compliments. "Boyfriend didn't compliment you much, huh?" Masky questions as he throws the covers off of himself. I cross my arms over my chest and don't say anything. He was right, Nathan never gave me any compliments unless I was dressed in something that pleased him. Just having him bringing up Nathan made me want to start bawling my eyes out. The fact that it doesn't bother him that he killed someone close to me is sickening. I secretively rub my eyes to hold back tears, making sure Masky doesn't pick up on it. Just as I was about ready to turn back around, I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a chin resting on my shoulders. Of course, it was none other than Masky. "Don't worry, you'll hear a lot of compliments from me." I feel his chest rumble from a chuckle before he kisses the back of my head. I don't say a word as he unwraps himself from my body. Masky grabs his jacket that I previously left hanging on the bed frame and holds it in front of him.

"You still want it, or...?" He trails off, awaiting for an answer from me. I turn over to him and eye the jacket before shaking my head. It's his jacket, after all. He simply hums as a reply before putting his jacket on and grabbing his mask from the nightstand. I really don't like that mask. Would it really kill him to keep that mask off for a day, at least once? "Ready to go downstairs, sunshine?" Masky fixes his jacket over his body before pulling up the zipper. With slight hesitation, I simply nod. Masky basically tells me to follow him with a motion of his hand. I have no other choice but to oblige. As I step out of the room and walk down stairs I can't help but wonder. Has anyone noticed me gone missing yet? What if there's a search party looking for me already? What if nobody actually cares that I'm gone? No, I can't think like that. As I walk downstairs behind Masky, I can hear a faint meow at the bottom of the stairs. Masky doesn't bother to interact with cat, nor does the cat bother to interact with Masky. However, once I reach the bottom of the stairs, the cat immediately claws at the cuffs of my pants. It kept mewling, as if begging for my attention. I don't hesitate to bed down and pick up the overly soft cat into my arms. The moment the cat gets picked up, it immediately starts purring away. I never knew a cat could like me this much. Holding the cat in my arms I follow Masky to the living room and over to the dining table, where Liu was already sitting. Liu had a cup in his hands along with two other cups beside him. The moment he sees Masky and I, he smiles. I wasn't sure if I could sit down with the cat at the table, since this isn't exactly my home. Liu seems to able to read my thoughts when he says, "Don't worry, you can keep Whiskers on your lap, if you'd like."
